Jiang MingYuan felt a bit uneasy and bothered by the fact that he felt uneasy. "Why?" He asked.

XingXing felt that this uncle was quite nice and it was okay to share some secrets with him.

He looked left and right the way he has seen in TV shows before he leaned into Jiang MingYuan, stood onto his tiptoe and whispered into his ear.

The little kiddo smelled like kid's lotion and his breathe when he talked tickled Jiang MingYuan.

Probably because he didn't want the secret to get out, XingXing said that very softly. Jiang MingYuan had to use all of his focus in order to hear what he was saying to him.

"Because my daddy is superman!" said the little kiddo solemnly, as though he was talking about someone very important. He took a step back and started describing to Jiang MingYuan what his father was like in his mind.

"My daddy is very mighty. He'd arrest criminals, and he can fly! He, he can do anything!" Looking at Jiang MingYuan, there was a it's-alright-you-are-just-a-commoner tone in his voice. "Uncle, you are pretty mighty too..."

Jiang MingYuan finished his sentence for him, "But just not as mighty as your daddy, right?"

XingXing nodded in agreement, "Right!"

Looking at him, Jiang MingYuan wanted to laugh but also felt a bit of sadness.

His childish words clearly exuded the child's self-confidence and his out-going personality.

Jiang MingYuan lamented and said, "Your mom is great." She did a great job with you.

Albeit he had no idea why the uncle suddenly brought up his mother, XingXing immediately agreed with what Jiang MingYuan had said. "My mom is the best! The mightiest! The prettiest, the... the..."

XingXing said a couple of "the's" but couldn't think of any other adjectives. Recalling what he had just said about his dad, he got an idea and added, "Even mightier than my dad!"

"That is pretty mighty." Jiang MingYuan agreed with him.

Jiang MingYuan didn't think too much about the kid's unconditioned admiration and love for his mother. It was only natural that a child would feel that way toward his mother. It'd be problematic if he didn't.

After talking about his own mom and dad, XingXing returned to playing with his Rubik's cube. He had watched Jiang MingYuan played it through once earlier but didn't quite get it. He was still loss when he tried to do it on his own.

This time the little kiddo didn't get frustrated. He tried for a few times and, when he failed to figure it out, he shoved the cube into Jiang MingYuan's hands and said, "Uncle, I still don't know how to do this."

His familiarity toward him made Jiang MingYuan happy but also slightly worried at the same time. He was happy that his kid has gotten used to him, but also worried about the same thing.

If he was that trusting, what if he was tricked by someone else later?

As he was thinking about that, Jiang MingYuan nonetheless picked up the cube and started working on it. He went much slower this time and explained as he went. He thought it through before he walked and switched to a way that XingXing could understand.

XingXing listened to him a few times and felt that he understood now.

He took the cube back and started twisting and turning the cube according to the method taught to him by Jiang MingYuan. Slowly, side after sides they started turning into the same color.

When he finished with it, XingXing bounced up and couldn't wait to show it to his mother.

Left behind, Jiang MingYuan looked at the back of the little kiddo who didn't even turn around and smiled in resign.
