While XingXing was saying how he was not used to this bed, he was already sound asleep by the time Jiang MingYuan walked out of the shower, his watch still in his hand.

Jiang MingYuan leaned over and took the watch out of his hand. The call was still connected. He tested it and a voice came from the watch, "You are done showering?"

Jiang MingYuan, "..."

After a quick silence, he responded with a "mmm" and walked out of the room as softly as he could. Closing the door, he tried his best to forget about the slightly embarrassing scene earlier and changed the subject.

When they first started chatting, they would talk about XingXing all the time and, once that topic was over, there would be awkward silence. Now that they were more familiar with each other, they had a lot more to talk about. Anything and everything from politics to street food. Jiang MingYuan had very good control on the time and would urge her to go to bed when the time was up.

The bed didn't matter to Cheng Huan. Even though the bed at the new house was a bit harder than her old one, that did not affect her sleep quality at all. Her biological clock was very precise and she woke up early the next morning. She was a bit groggy when she woke up and reflexively looked over at the other end of the bed. There was nobody there. And that was when she recalled that she had moved and that XingXing was still sleeping upstairs.

She sat on the bed for a while and only got out to change and wash up when her hand cooled down a little. She opened up the door and discovered the items delivered by property management.

These were the meats and vegetables that she had requested yesterday along with a bag of flour from a specific brand. The HOA was high and the quality of the items were also guaranteed.

After putting those items that she didn't immediately need into the refrigerator, Cheng Huan opened up the bag of flour and scooped out some of them.

She added eggs into the flour and beat them together before covering it up and letting it sit for 10 minutes. While it sat, Cheng Huan grabbed a pot, added in a couple handfuls of millet, rinsed them and started making the porridge.

Ten minutes later, when the flour was ready, she rolled it up into long tube shape before squeezing them off in small chunks. She then used the rolling pin to flatten them out into dumpling wraps.

When the dumpling wraps were done, all she had left was the fillings. She mixed minced meat together with minced water chestnuts and carrots along with soy cause, ginger, and oyster sauce and wrapped them up in the wraps.

The dumplings were lined up neatly on the countertop. Cheng Huan pulled out another pan and poured some oil into the pot. She turned the stove on and placed the dumplings into the pan, fried them until golden brown and added water to cook them the rest of the way.

As though they have timed it, as soon as she had finished the reduction of the sauce and the room was filled with the aroma of food, the doorbell rang right when she was about to scoop out the food.

It wasn't difficult to figure out who it was at the door. Cheng Huan turned the stove off, pulled off the food and washed her hands before she went to get the door.

"Why didn't you just come inside? Don't you have the key?"

"I didn't know if it is a good time." Jiang MingYuan had the sleepy-looking XingXing with him. He even had a bundle of flowers in his hand. He handed the flowers to Cheng Huan and walked inside with XingXing. With a casual tone, he said, "I won't knock next time if you don't mind."

"That is fine. You can just come in." With the flowers in her hand, Cheng Huan noticed that there seemed to have more flowers than before. She placed the flowers into a vase, brought the food out and have them sit down at the dinner table.
