He was pointing at the roller coaster. It was humongous and crisscrossed itself. The tallest point looked to be close to 100 meters above ground.
There was, naturally, no way the two adults would have let him get on that. XingXing grumbled for a long time and even deployed his crying trick, but all to no avail.
Jiang MingYuan got a directory from somewhere and, after he had finished studying it, took the mother and son duo to another building.
The name of this game was Star Wars. It was easy to do. All one needed to do was to sit in the chair and control the steering wheel and laser beam to hit the little monsters.
Sure enough, XingXing was extremely interested in it. He never stopped talking since he got on it and even played his own background music to go with his actions. Unfortunately, he was small, his arms were short and he could barely control the steering wheel, let alone aiming at the little monsters with the laser beam.
The little kiddo tried a few times in a row but didn't even score one point. He was quite devastated.
Jiang MingYuan wanted to show off in front of his son and volunteered to team up with him. XingXing didn't want to play with him. In the little kiddo's eyes, he was just an uncle that he wasn't very familiar with. He wanted his mommy to partner up with him. Cheng Huan had zero interest in this type of games and openly rejected him. The little kiddo has no other choice but to reluctantly team up with Jiang MingYuan.
With the addition of Jiang MingYuan, XingXing's score started to go up and up. Jiang MingYuan tried a couple of times before he had the technique figured out. His laser gun was one shot one kill. XingXing had completely forgotten about how reluctant he was earlier. He stood up on the chair and bounced up and down, clapping his hands together, shouting out loudly.
XingXing could never got tired of this and asked to play it over and over again. Jiang MingYuan did not turn him down. By the time Cheng Huan urged them to stop from below, the little kiddo has already lost his voice.
Jiang MingYuan, having to do both the aiming and shooting nonstop the entire time, both of his hands were sore but he was in a very good mood. There was a slight smile on him.
Cheng Huan was the only one who remained calm among the three of them. Seeing the two had returned, Cheng Huan, with XingXing little backpack in her hand, called out to them.
"Mommy, let's go shoot some more at the little monsters." XingXing, his hand held, still reluctant to leave. "Shooting at little monsters was so much fun."
"No," said Cheng Huan immediately and walked out of the building with XingXing. Comparing to inside of the building, the air was much fresher outside. Cheng Huan took a deep breath and asked her son. "Do you want to go get lunch?"
XingXing, after running around all morning long, was starting to get hungry. He patted himself on his belly and nodded at Cheng Huan. "Okay, let's go eat, Mommy."
And Jiang MingYuan had been completely forgotten again.
Jiang MingYuan felt a bit helpless about how the little kiddo would always forget about him. He took a look at the directory and said to Cheng Huan, "I know there's a restaurant that tastes alright. Give that a try?"
Cheng Huan nodded agreeably. "Sure."
All the food has one thing in common inside of an amusement park – crazy expensive.
It was no different here. Anything that would normally cost around 1,000 yuan outside would cost 3,000 – 4,000 here. Their taste was alright. All in all, XingXing wasn't too thrilled about the food. He said they weren't as good as his mommy's cooking.
