Cheng Huan wasn't sure whether men were naturally more thick-skinned or that it was just because he was Jiang MingYuan, he was much calmer than Cheng Huan. He pulled out a tissue, slowly wiped away the moisture on his lips before he asked the little kiddo standing by the door, "How come you are down here?"

"I'm here to play!" said XingXing as he walked over with his little plane in his hand. His eyes inquisitive. Staring at his daddy's lips that were brightly colored, he stuck his own little tongue out and said, "Daddy, are you playing kissing with Mommy?"

Jiang MingYuan, "...mmhmm."

"Why do you need to stick your tongue out to kiss?" XingXing was particularly curious about that. "I have never stuck my tongue out for that."

"Because that's an adult's game and you are still a child..." With his waist being pinched by someone, Jiang MingYuan paused in mid-sentence. He squeezed the hand a little and walked up to pat his son on his head with the most serious look as he changed the subject. "Alright, that is not that strange, alright? Why don't Daddy go play with you?"

"Oh." XingXing was still feeling dubious about it but playing with his father had more draw to him so he only looked up at his blushing mother once before he walked away with his dad.

After the two had walked away from her, Cheng Huan let out a sigh. She patted her own cheeks and tried to calm down her frantically beating heart. She then said in a very normal voice, "I am going to cook something. Do you two want any?"

"Don't bother with it. We've ordered lunch for you and it will be here shortly," replied Jiang MingYuan in between squatting on the floor and helping his son took the plane apart. He pointed at the couch next to them and said, "You can have a seat and watch some television or play on your cellphone. Or you can watch us take things apart."

He looked tender and was completely relaxed. "Don't go far. I want to be able to see you."

Cheng Huan's cheeks, that was still blushing from before, reddened even more. She gave the man on the floor a stare and wanted him to talking. Her eyes, though, were full of shyness and not threatening at all. After she was done giving him the stare, she really sat down on the couch. Her back straight and her knees together, waiting for lunch to arrive.

Jiang MingYuan wasn't lying either. As though he was truly worry that she would run off, he would look up at her from time to time. So frequently that Cheng Huan couldn't even relax. By the time lunch was delivered, the tips of her ears were still red.

The delivery person could not enter the apartment building so they left it at the security for them to pick it up themselves. When his phone rang, Jiang MingYuan picked it up, said a few things into it, had XingXing played by himself, and put on his jacket to go get the delivery.

There was a good variety of food – four dishes plus a soup, all of them in small portions. Insulation was good and the food was still steaming when it arrived. Jiang MingYuan brought the take-out boxes up and placed them on top of the end table. He then went over to the kitchen and brought her out a pair of clean chopsticks. He then leaned down and quickly gave her a peck next to her eye and said, "Okay, just eat right here."

Cheng Huan took the chopsticks from him and glanced over at XingXing. She said to him in a low voice, "Watch yourself."

The man grunted but his eyes were filled with smile, obviously not caring what she had to say about that.

It was almost 3 PM by the time she was done eating. When Cheng Huan was done eating, she packed up the garbage and said to the two at home. "I will make a trip to the shop."

"I'll go with you," said Jiang MingYuan as he stood up.

Cheng Huan declined him immediately. "No need. You stay home with XingXing. I just have some things to take care of. I'll be back shortly."
