Anthanasia sat down and faced Ijekiel.
"Duke Alpheus? What happened?"
"Since yesterday, he's been drinking seriously. Getting himself drunk and trashing the place. I got the servants to redraw all the alcohol. After he became sober, he's been crying and apologizing to me.
Then after some time, he began to speak to himself saying that he wants to see Princess Jennette but can't bare the guilt to face her. It's all so confusing, so I decided to seek your Highness' advice on what to do.
You're the person that will know best, what to do"
Anthanasia mulled over what he had said.
Ijekiel's father, Duke Roger Alpheus was a man that was always in control of everything, especially his own life.
He didn't seem like the type to drown his sorrows into alcohol. He was more of a person that faced challenges head on.
For him to do that would mean he had really been saddened.
So what was the cause of his sudden change in emotion?
Anthanasia could clearly remember seeing him three days ago in a meeting.
He had been looking healthy and like his usual self.
"Did anything happen to him?"
"The servants say he had been visited by two guests. The first was an old lady. They said that after the old lady left he seemed to look angry.
The second was a mysterious man that wore a cloak. My father had supposedly turned into the frantic state after the man left"
Something came into Anthanasia's mind as she heard that an old lady had visited the Alpheus household.
'Could it be the same old lady that gave me that prophecy? No. Maybe it's just a coincidence'
"So what's the Duke's condition now?"
"He's cooped up in his room, still insisting that he wants to see Jennette, yet contradicting his words in the next second"
"I think it's best for Jennette to talk to him"
"That's what I thought but since the palace is currently in a rocky situation, I didn't think it would bs wise for any of the princess' to leave the palace for now.
But, I'm worried about my father's mental health. Maybe Princess Jennette can talk to him... "
"That's not for me to decide. We can go ask Jennette if she's willing to go. I can handle things myself in the palace even if it's for a whole day"
"Oh thank you, Princess"

Jennette had been reading a novel. Slowly she felt the sudden urge to sleep. She struggled against this feeling, but in the end, her eyes ended up closing.
She had a very strange dream.
The dream began and showed the day of her debut were she was introduced to the Emperor and Anthanasia.
The events were similar with what had happened that day, but instead with a slight twist.
"I'm going to the palace now and everyone must love me because I am the protagonist"
A voice that sounded like hers, whispered into her ears.
The voice was eerie and lifeless, sending chills down her back.
"I am the protagonist. I Jennette Margareta am the protagonist. I am the lovely princess"
Various moments flashed around her. Some she was familiar with, others she had never seen. The debut, accusation of Anthanasia's poisoning, the fall of the Emperor and others.
The dream felt very realistic. It was at that moment that Jennette realized she was dreaming.
Usually when one was aware that they were in a dream wouldn't they wake up? But instead of waking up, the voice continued to whisper into her ears while chaos surrounded her.
"Anthanasia is meant to be loathed. She is meant to be executed in order for me to shine more brightly. Claude is meant to kill her so that I can have his love"
A knife appeared in her head in the dream. Her hands shook as her fingertips touched the metallic blade. It cut her thumb slightly, making her bleed.
Throwing the knife on the ground, it vanished into the black void.
"No! No!"
Jennette suddenly felt like she was choking. As if she was being strangled. Her breath seized and she battled against some invisible force for freedom.
"Cough! Cough!"
Her eyes opened and she saw the ceiling roof. Sweat rolled down her forehead and she gasped for breath.
Raisng up her hand, she noticed the cut on her thumb that caused her to bleed.
'This can't be a simple dream. It was so real and affected me physically'
It was then that Jennette noticed that someone was dabbing her head with a towel. She turned her head slightly and immediately came alerted by the person's presence.
"Hi" He had blonde hair and jeweled blue eyes, very much resembling the unconscious Emperor Claude.
Standing up and moving to a side, she exclaimed.
"A-Anastacius?!"
