Anthanasia leaned on the balcony railing and gazed to the three stars that were in the sky.

Maybe one day we could be like that. The unloved princess' only wish was to be loved and accepted by  her family.

From the time of her childhood she never met with her father, until the age of nine. He didn't have loving affectionate eyes, instead they were cold.

But she waved off the thought of her being hated. Even as she saw his firm refusal of not acknowledging her with nothing else except icy eyes, she refused to believe.

She based her belief in the thought of her father being an emotionless person who doesn't smile or do things for others because he went through something, but of course it was Anthanasia's imagination.

But after she turned fourteen, her hope began to waver. On her debut her sister was introduced, Jennette. After Jennette became a princess all of the emperor's love was showered on her.

Anthanasia was envious of Jennette, not malicious envy, but admiration. Jennette was like the fairy tale princesses who had perfect lives and were nice to everyone and recieved unconditional love.

While she was a side character which is meant to forever stay in the shadow of the protagonist. Even she too understood why Jennette was loved she was a cheerful and bright girl.

Compared to her she was a rock in the ocean that caused trouble to ships. While Jennette was the bright sun which always shines down on everyone and brings warmth.

They both had opposite lives. Right and Left. Up and Down. Light and Darkness. Yin and Yang.

That was difference between the two of them, but Anthanasia still clung to the hope of being part of a loving family.

Today was Anthanasia's first time being out of the dreadful palace.

Even though she was a princess she was out with nothing close to an escort excluding the head maid Lilian York.

Not that the emperor cared any less. Lily, volunteered and ordered the rest of the maids to follow but Anthanasia refused seeing their reluctance.

The air was a bit cold, but due to their activities they had a fair amount of sweat which quickly dried of by the time they were in a jewelery shop.

Anthanasia had selected a few pretty items which Lily was paying for while she took a survey of the shop. The shop looked smaller than it was while at the cashiers desk.

At some point Anthanasia got lost between some jewelery cases.

As she was navigating her way she found an old lady asleep on a chair with a blanket at her side.

The woman seemed to be freezing due to being exposed to the  cold weather and Anthanasia pitied her and quietly picked up the blanket to cover the old woman.

Then suddenly she spoke.

"Don't worry child, I'm not cold" The old womans eyes weren't even slightly open which suprised Anthanasia

"Hmm, Princess Anthanasia de Alger Obelia, you have an interesting future"

H, how did she know my name?! Plus her eyes are closed.

Anthanasia quickly stood upright and was about to leave but stopped froze the moment she heard the old at the next words she heard.

"You have always long to be loved by your father" She turned around and looked at the old woman who's eyes were closed. "But" The old woman said with a pause. " That is impossible. He will never love you. You will even be killed at the hands of your father. Your future is unchangeable. It is set in stone!"

Anthanasia quockly turned around and allowed the old woman continue her babbling, but strange enough, the second she turned around, she was right behind Lily.

She turned to her back, but no old woman and she was near the cashiers table.

Her day of outing continued after that strange occurence but the old womans words echoed in her mind.
