"Alright boys gather around," Ja coach clapped as they all tiredly ran to the bleachers where Coach Monty was stood.
"Practice is over, I'm giving y'all the rest of the week off, I know I've been working y'all nonstop. Our next practice is on the 11th so that is next Monday don't forget we then have a game next Wednesday so prepare for that. I'll send it to the group chat. I need y'all to look at y'all play book and don't come back here acting like y'all don't know nothing or we gone have some problems. Hands in," he spoke.
The team put their hands in.
"On 3, 1... 2... 3 break," they yelled everybody went they separate ways. Ja grabbed his bag off the bleachers and threw it over his shoulder as he wiped his face with a towel.
"Come on y'all," he said to Kaari and Teniya, they came running down off the bleachers and met him on the court.
"Bout time," Niya huffed as they walked out the gym doors. The 3 headed out the stadium building to the parking lot.
They got in the car and pulled off.
"Mama working tonight, dad is too," Niya told Ja and he nodded. He swung by the nearest pizza place and grabbed them some pizzas and wings.
Once he made it home he put Kaari in the tub and Niya went to her designated bed room, she had called it her bedroom the day Ja bought the house.
He was now in his room laying down watching tv. He looked up from the tv when he heard his door open, Kaari walked in with her teddy bear clutched against her chest.
"Can I sleep with you dada?" She asked him with a small voice.
"Yeah come on baby," he told, he helped her up into his bed, being that it was high up. He sat her down on the bed beside him and she grabbed the remote.
"We're gonna watch Princess Tiana," she told him and he nodded already knowing that was what she was going to put on.
He grabbed his phone from beside him and made a FaceTime call to Suanií. After their date yesterday afternoon they parted ways being that she had some work to tend to.
He had definitely enjoyed her company, he wanted to go out with her more.
"Hello," she answered the phone groggily.
"You sleep?" He asked her. The screen was pitch black and it was dead silent on her end of the phone.
"Not anymore, I just woke up like 10 minutes before you called," she yawned.
"Why you been sleep all day, you good?" He asked her, he looked over at Kaari as she cuddled into his side with the teddy bear in between them.
"After I left the studio yesterday I didn't leave until like 5 in the morning. So I've been sleep majority of the day," she told him grabbing her led light remote to turn them on.
