TINK groaned as she tumbled around in the bed. Her eyes slowly opened and she found herself laid in the center of Ja's bed. Finally gaining clarification on her surroundings, a smile appeared in her face from her late night/morning indiscretions.
That man knew what he was doing in bed, she thought. She felt Ja side of the bed and found that it was empty and cold. Rolling over she grabbed her phone from off the nightstand and saw that it was 2 in the afternoon.
"Oh shit," she jumped up from the bed, her feet were freezing from Ja's hardwood flooring. She quickly made it to his closet and slipped on a pair of his slides that were by the door.
She then began making her way out of the room, she listened for any noise and frowned when she didn't hear anything. She headed for the kitchen and the living room and came up empty with both. She headed to Kaari's play room and didn't see anyone there either.
Her frown deepened before she made her way upstairs. She checked the guest bedrooms before finally going to the movie room. She opened the door and saw the kids and Ja cuddled up on one of the chairs.
Tink smiled at the 3, on the tv played Spider-man into the Spider verse, the credits rolling at the end of the movie. She knew they were sleeping. She walked down the few steps so she was in front of them and snapped a quick picture.
The leg rest was pulled out on the chair, Kaari sat in Ja lap on one side and Moo was seated on the other side of Ja with his head laid on his chest.
Tink grabbed the bucket of popcorn from out of Kaari lap and pulled the cover over all 3 of them. She then made her way out of the theatre and headed back downstairs. She headed to the living room and sat down on the couch, she pulled her phone out and made a FaceTime call to Mari with a large sigh.
She could feel the soreness in her legs, it was much worse around 2 this morning after however many rounds. They had taken a shower and Ja took her down in there as well but he practically had to carry her like a baby being that her legs were quickly going out on her.
"Hi my lovelyyyyy," Mari answered the phone with a large smile on her face.
"Hi babyyyyy," Tink replied with the same energy, "what you doing?" Tink asked her best friend.
"Girl nothing laying here with Keyonte, girl why the fuck he got me drinking these nasty ass under armour drinks?" Mari huffed with a roll of her eyes.
"Mmcht shut up," Keyonte voice rang through the phone.
"You shut the hell up, them shits is nasty," she mugged with a shake of her head.
"Who you telling, thats all Ja got in his refrigerator," Tink shook her head. The team was currently under a 2 year contract with Under Armour and they were enforced to sponsor the drinks.
"Nasty as the fuck," Mari shook her head, Keyonte mushed her head causing Mari to place the phone down.
"Girl where is my niece at?" Tink shook her head as the 2 began to bicker back and forth.
