SLEEP was the only thing Tink felt like doing at the moment. To say she was tired would be the biggest understatement of the century. She had been at her release party for the last 3 hours. She couldn't wait to just get home and get in the bed with her son.
She was thankful so many people were in support of her album but honestly she was tired. She had been up since 3 this morning, she had been at the studio 2 hours prior to being here, she was having some late night inspiration.
Her social battery had died hours ago and there was no recharging it unless she was able to take herself a good ole nap. She had barely spent time with her son today and she hadn't seen her man since their date 3 days ago.
They were currently having a 4-day tournament in Las Vegas, they wouldn't be back until Friday and today is only Wednesday. He made sure to FaceTime her whenever he could but it wasn't enough for either of them.
She had her mind made up that she'd stay here for another 30 minutes and make her exit. She was no longer enjoying herself no way. Plus it was that time of month for her and her womanhood was definitely coming hard today.
"Hey beautiful," Nancy, someone Tink went to school with spoke up.
"Hey honey how are you, I haven't seen you in years," Tink smiled as the 2 girls hugged one another.
"Girl I'm alive, and glad to be out the house," Nancy laughed and Tink laughed along with her.
"Yess congrats on your 2 beautiful baby girls," Tink smiled, Nancy gave birth to twin daughters less than a year ago. Tink loved that the girl was out of the house because after she had Moo it took her over a year to even go back to work.
"Thank you honey, how's your baby doing?" She asked.
"He's doing amazing, I'm missing my baby right now," Tink told her and Nancy nodded pouting her bottom lip.
"Girl yes, I hate being away from my kids." She laughed and they smiled at each other.
"But I'll see you later boo I gotta go find my sister," she told Tink.
"Oh ok, be safe love," Tink told her, the 2 hugged before they parted.
Tink took that as a last straw to leave. She was such a homebody.
Making her way out of the large house she made her way down the driveway and got inside her car. She pulled out her phone and sent a text to Daniella, the woman who threw the party for her.
Daniella was the girlfriend of her producer Brian, the 2 had been together since she started working with Brian. Tink considered Daniella a friend, the girl was the absolute sweetest. She was just a bit much for Tink sometimes. She knew Daniella was the type of friend she kept at a distance. Especially being that the girl was always tied up in some type of drama, Tink wanted to keep that very far away from her.
