"HE ain't playing today," Ja groaned loudly as he stood doubled over with his hands on his knees. Their coach was on their ass about the loss they suffered from yesterday.

He called an emergency practice right after the game because he said they should've won that game. There was no reason for them to loose especially against the Heat.

"Mannn, his ass tripping," Keyonte added on as he tied his shoe.

Their coach had them doing drills the entire practice. To say they were exhausted was an understatement.

"Alright water break for 10 minutes, be back here at 6:27, if anybody is late we all running," he told them, his voice bouncing off the walls of the stadium.

Ja shook his head as he made his way to the locker room, going inside he grabbed his phone and water bottle. He then headed out to the hallway.

He checked his phone and saw that he had 3 messages from his parents. They were trying to make sure he was coming to Sunday dinner tomorrow. He responded with a quick yes before he went to fill up his water bottle.

"Ayy bro," one of his younger teammates, Trell, asked him. He was one of the newer guys on the team. He was drafted last year, he was really good but he didn't get much play time.

"Wassup bro," Ja nodded to the younger boy dapping him up as they walked up to the fountain.

"Ayy I wanted ta ask you if Suanií was you?" He asked him, Ja raised his eyebrow.

"What you mean?" He asked him with a slight chuckle.

"That's you?" He questioned and Ja just looked at the boy.

"Why?" Ja asked him removing his water bottle from under the fountain and putting the top back on it.

"I mean she look good what else," he laughed playing with his beard.

"Nah, that's my shorty li bruh," Ja told him and Trell nodded.

"All I wanted to know, my fault bruh," he told Ja and walked away. Ja just watched the boy walk off before shaking his head. He then checked his Apple Watch that Tink urged him to get. She claimed they were the most convenient thing ever.

He told her he wouldn't ever spend that much money over a damn watch that wasn't a Rolex. So she bought him one with a nice diamond crested band to go with it.

Seeing that the time was 6:23 he made his way back to the stadium. He hated how early his practices were. They had been there since 3:30 this morning and they still had another hour left before they would leave.
