"Alright let's get started! We'd like to welcome the very well-known, mischief-loving and very popular guest. Everyone please be civil and welcome The Untouchable Hero, Themis!" Lights flashed in Y/n's face as people snapped picture after picture of her leaning on her stand. She had a lazy smile on her face, and she was bored out of her mind. Her dislike for press conferences was strong, she's always said that she preferred interviews more. They were easier to get through since there was only one person that she had to focus on charming, not a whole crowd of them. But she could manage.

"You, fire away." She pointed at one of the journalists who was waving his hand around. "Do you feel guilty having the longest criminal record of any hero here in Japan?" He asked. Y/n raised a brow, her eyes held a mischievous glint that could only mean trouble. "We both know that's not my longest record.." She smirked, making the crowd in front of her laugh. The man's cheeks reddened and he looked away from her.

"On a serious note, I'm going to have to deny that. I could name many other heroes with a longer record but PR would have my head, so let's not get into that." It was as if she just told them that there was a bomb in the building. The flashes were brighter and more frequent and there were questions being fired from all directions. She held her head down to hide her smile before she collected herself again. "Alright everybody calm down so we can get through more than one question before I leave. You, with the red bowtie."

"So, Themis, how do you feel about being ranked Japan's hottest female hero for 3 consecutive years?" He asked. Deep breaths, she thought, resisting the urge to roll her eyes. "Shouldn't we talk about the fact that I've been ranked number 4 hero in Japan? In my opinion that might be more important, but of course, my opinion is pretty outrageous." He laughed nervously before shuffling the papers in his hands. "Well, to be honest, Themis, we all know what our viewers want, and it's my job to give the people what they want!"

The majority of the crowd laughed, making Y/n clench her jaw and smile. Her patience was running thin. "I see, but it's also your job to make sure that I don't call off this press conference." She smirked condescendingly, making him gulp slightly. "Next. You, the lady in the back with pink hair." The woman stood up and took a deep breath. "How did you become Japan's richest woman and one of the world's richest women?" Her question made Y/n smile genuinely. "Here's a tip, if they don't give you a raise, expose them."

"Ma'am! Is it true that you can't control your quirk?" Someone from the back shouted out, catching Y/n off guard. She was about to answer the question when someone else spoke up. "How do you feel about the people and government officials calling you a criminal and saying that you should be in jail not on the streets?" Her eyes moved to the front of the crowd, where the person who asked the question stood with a smug smile. "I know my value, anyone else's opinion does not, has not, and will never matter to me. So if they want to arrest me, then let them arrest me. I don't care. They know exactly where to find me."

The cameras flashed wildly, following Y/n as she left the stand with a frown etched on her face. Her assistant quickly followed her with a clipboard tightly pressed against her chest. "Mai please cancel all press conferences I have scheduled in the foreseeable future and blacklist that asshole." Y/n grumbled while they walked through the hallway and to her car. "I'm afraid I can't do the first thing boss, but I'll have him gone." Mai responded with a monotone voice. Her usual tone. Y/n has always questioned why she had that quirk, she barely felt any emotions anyway.

The hero groaned, snaking her hand into her inner suit jacket pocket and pulling out her trusty flask. "I advise you not to drink before your U.A. interview boss." Mai hummed while scribbling something on her clipboard. Y/n's face scrunched up after taking a sip, not because of the taste, that she was used to. "The interview is today?" She turned toward her assistant. Mai nodded.
