Y/n was awakened by the sound of her phone ringing, making her groan loudly as she reached her arm out to her bedside table. "Yes?" She croaked, rubbing her eyes. "The intern kid is at the door." Informed Mai. Y/n squinted, untangling herself from the stranger besides her in the bed so that she could get up. "Intern kid...?" She mumbled, mostly to herself. "Oh, Bakugou. Tell him to suit up and go to my office. I'll be down in a sec..." Y/n yawned, wrapping her silk robe around her bare self. She shut the call and walked towards the bedroom window, the bed began to rustle as soon as she opened the blinds to let the sun in.

"Right, I'm afraid it's time to go, I've got a job to do. Keep the party going at Arata's place, I'm sure he's still awake..." Y/n sighed, placing an abandoned cigarette that she grabbed from the bedside table in her mouth and lighting it up with a lighter she found in her robe pocket. "Your clothes are where you left them. And don't forget to sign your NDA at the reception on your way out. Yeah, thanks." She spoke with her back turned to the man getting dressed, then trailing out of her penthouse and down to the agency reception.

After a long drag from the cigarette, she dialled Arata's number and left the phone on speaker whilst she changed into her hero suit. "Morning Miss Themis." He answered, she could almost hear the grin on his face. "Yeah, g'morning. Just a little PSA, there's a possible party of one heading to your bar so uh, enjoy." She heaved, leaning over to put her boots on. "The more the merrier. So how'd it go? Did you succeed in your hundredth attempt at getting over that bird head?" Y/n rolled her eyes and tightened her utility belt. "It's not my hundredth time, and he's not a bird head..." She grumbled.

"So I take it you're not over him?" There was some rustling from his side of the phone before it got very quiet, Y/n presumed that he'd excused himself from the party to talk to her privately. When he didn't get an answer from her, he kept going. "Listen, I'm telling you this as your devoted drinking buddy of almost four years, the only way you'll get through this is if you tell him. You'll either end up together or he'll say no, and then you can finally get over him." Y/n picked up the phone and turned off the speaker, holding the phone to her ear with her shoulder instead.

"I've told you before Ara, I can't do that. I'm trying to keep him safe. I'm a disaster." Y/n tutted, talking and scrolling through the news feeds on her iPad while she walked down the halls of her agency. "Finally, something truthful comes out of your mouth." He chuckled, making her frown with a glare. "Tsk. Shut up." "M'kay. I never got to thank you, y'know." Y/n took a turn and entered her office. She nodded at Bakugou, who was standing and waiting for her, and chucked a protein bar at him. "For catching that guy yesterday. My costumers always complained about him."

"Ah, well, you're welcome. Anyway, I have to leave now, my student is here." She exhaled, tossing her iPad onto the couch and heading to her desk. Y/n nodded at Bakugou to follow, and he did. He was very confused, but he let her finish her call before asking any questions. They stood behind the desk and Y/n leaned forwards to open her laptop. "I'll see you soon, I presume." He snarked, she pursed her lips and stared for a second. "... Yeah, most probably." Y/n clicked her tongue and typed something, which made a hologram appear from a little circular device behind the laptop.

"Oh, by the way, don't confess to him. If you do, then I'll lose my smoking and drinking buddy. I like you mentally unstable." Arata snickered, making her hold back a smile. "You're a dick, you know that, right?" She whispered with a small grin and ended the call. She sighed and slipped the phone in her pocket before turning to Bakugou with her hands on her hips and an up-to-no-good smile. "Good morning. I'm surprised you came back after yesterday." Y/n chimed. "Why wouldn't I? It was badass. So what are we doing today?" He asked with a determined smirk.

"Well, for starters, you might want to eat that protein bar because you'll need a lot of energy for what we'll be doing today..." She hummed, eyeing the blue path projected on the holographic map in front of them. Y/n made a pinching motion at the hologram and then a dropping motion on her smartwatch, making the holograph disappear and reappear as a smaller version on her watch. Bakugou raised his brow, impressed. "What're we doing?" He asked, swallowing a bite before speaking.
