(A/N: Hello!! The first phase of my exams is over and now I have a week of easter break before they start up again! I hope i can write as much as possible.)
THREE DAYS LATER, TARTARUS PRISON
"Themis, we are honoured that you are here, but the prison has stated many times that you cannot visit Lady Nagant-" "Well, you have nothing to worry about. I'm not here for my sister." Y/n interrupted the prison warden's private secretary, making him hesitate before nodding. "O-oh, my apologies. T-then why...?" He gulped, eyeing her up and down. "I'm here to visit Stain." She clarified, watching as the secretary's eyes slowly widened. "I don't think-" "Just call the warden for me for a second, alright?" She whispered with a smile. "Yes ma'am." He nodded, hurriedly taking out his phone and handing it to her as it rang.
"Hello? Gyu, do I have to repeat myself again? I said three copies of-" "It's Themis speaking." Y/n rolled her eyes, stepping away from the secretary for privacy. "Ah, what a surprise... If this is about-" "It's not about my sister. I'm here to... make a deal with you." There was silence from the other end of the line, she could almost hear the gears in his tiny brain turning and working overtime to think of a response. "... Miss, I'm not sure if I understand what you mean?" She cringed, is that the best he could think of? "Let's make sure you understand then, Mr Warden."
Y/n took out her phone and sent a photo directly to the Warden. "Check your email for me, please." She kindly requested. Clicking was heard from the speaker, he was pulling up the picture on his computer. The clicking paused, and a gasp followed. "How do you-" "I'm sure you don't want that floating around the web now, do you?" Silence, but then the warden cleared his throat. "No, I don't." The corners of Y/n's lips drew upwards in a mischievous smirk. "Mmm... That's what I was thinking, too. So here's your ultimatum; Either that picture is on every news outlet by tonight... or you give me five minutes alone with Stain, without any type of supervision. Now hurry with a short answer, I'm on a tight schedule."
Whilst she awaited an answer, Y/n stared at her nails and hummed provokingly. She already knew what the answer was, if there was one thing Arata was good at, it was gathering black mail. And if there was one thing she was good at, it was using it in the most provocative way. "... Could you hand the phone back to my assistant?" He let out an exasperated sigh, he sounded stressed, which made her chuckle. "Sure..." She purred, doing as he asked. Seconds after she handed the phone to the assistant, he ended the call and turned to her with a nervous smile.
"These guards will accompany you to the cell, ma'am. Five minutes, your rules." He mumbled, keeping his head down and his hands in his lap. "Aw thank you, here, for your troubles." She reached into the breast pocket of her suit and took out a booklet before scribbling something on it. "Don't tell your boss." She winked, handing him the ripped out paper. His eyes blew open, and he gripped the check with both hands. "M-ma'am, I can't take this..." He protested, but she'd already walked away, purse swinging, with the guards.
"This place could use a repaint, it's very depressing. Have you ever considered pink? Or maybe purple, purple is very nice. Real evil bad guy vibes, y'know. These white walls are sure to drive people insane." Y/n spoke as she walked, the guards were two steps ahead of her, so she couldn't see their faces but she imagined they were as dull as their responses. Or lack thereof. "Ah. So it's on purpose. You want them insane. Is the 'not talking to anyone' act also a part of the driving people insane thing?" When they persisted on not responding, she pursed her lips and rolled her eyes.
After walking and twisting through many white corridors, the two guards suddenly halted to a stop. "Five minutes. And don't get too close. He will attack." One of them spoke while the other walked up to her to search her. Before he could lay a hand on her, she grabbed his wrist with her free hand, using force that he hadn't anticipated. "Don't touch a ladies purse." She smiled, ticked off. "Don't worry. I won't kill him. I'm here to talk." Y/n assured, brushing the creases on her suit. The guards eyed each other before allowing her to pass through the metal doors and into an isolated cage-like room.
