Location- Parents' House
Time- 7:12 pm
JUNE 10th
"I'm in a dilemma," I huff plopping down onto Amina's bed.
"What dilemma?" Amina asks, closing her laptop.
"I think I like him, I'm actually starting to like him," I tell her and she looks at me confused.
"Who?" She asks and I look at her.
"Ja," I say, turning my body to face her.
She smirks, "Ya been talkin'?" She asks and I push my lips to the side nodding my head.
"Yeahh, a little bit," I say shrugging.
"Whatchu mean by a little bit?" She raises her eyebrow.
"Like almost every day," I mumble making her jaw drop.
"First of all how did this even start, cause you ain't tell me anything," She says and I start explaining to her how everything happened. I didn't wanna tell anyone anything cause I didn't know how it was gonna turn out. The fact that I didn't even tell Siloe says a lot.
"Ayee, my sis bagged Ja Morant," She cheesed dapping me up.
"Girl, I didn't bag him, I told him I wasn't ready for a relationship," I say and she rolls her eyes.
"So you wouldn't be tight if he talked to another bitch?" She asks.
"Why would I be tight, he's not my nigga." I say.
"You sayin' that now, it's gone be a different story later Dijah," She says.

Location- Memphis Pediatric Center
Time- 9:05 am
"Hey, who's this?" I ask as I sit down at the table Siloe and I usually sit at. She was sitting with someone so I just had to ask.
"Hey Di, this is Asia, she's one of the new pediatricians. Asia this is Khadijah, she's one of the best pediatricians in Memphis next to me of course," Siloe says.
"Hi, nice to meet you," Asia sticks her hand out for me to shake and I grab onto it.
I smile, "Nice to meet you too," I say.
"So do y'all pretty much stay to ya selves?" She asks taking a sip of her coffee.
"Yeah, she's been gang since day one," I brag making Siloe cheese.
"Well I hope ya don't mind, showing me how things are done here," She says and I just smile.
"Sure why not?" I shrug. I look at Siloe and she looks at me, both of us having the same looks on our faces.
"Anyways um, I gotta get my appointment list, but Siloe I gotta tell you something later ight," I say and she nods her head. I wave goodbye before I make my way to the lobby. After I get my appointment list I go to the elevator, I press the button and as I wait for it I check my phone. I notice a bunch of notifications but the one that caught my eye was one from Ja.
