"These wings are too good," I exclaim while taking another bite.

"We're coming back here again for sure. This food really buss," She says.

"How's it going with finding a place?" I ask.

"Good, I already have one place in mind but I want to do a little bit more looking to see if that's the place I really want," She smiles. Before Siloe wanted to become a Pediatrician, she wanted to be a dancer. She did competitive dancing in elementary and middle school. After becoming a Pediatrician, she thought it would be best to have her own dance studio.

"Well let me know if you want me to go with you," I say before drinking my lemonade.

She nods, "I will," She says simply.

"Ouu I've been thinking about getting a puppy," I mention.

"Yeah yo ass need to get a dog. I know you be lonely as hell in that apartment," She snickers and I just stare at her.

"Bitch, you act like you got somebody waiting for you at your apartment," I remark making her chuckle.

"Girl stop playing wit me, you know my nigga be waiting for me," She says making me look left and right.

"What nigga? Be for real," I laugh.

"Oh I meant to say niggas, plural," She says making us both laugh.

"You're a whole mess," I say through laughter.

"I know, but what kinda dog do you want?" She asks before taking a bite of her sandwich.

"It's either between a pit bull or a cavapoo," I tell her.

"If you get a pit bull I am not going to your crib," She shakes her head.

"Yes you will," I say.

"Anyway, are you gonna do anything for Ja since he wasn't here for his birthday?" She asks.

I smile, "I have something planned, hopefully, he'll like it," I say.

Once I got home I took a shower and changed into one of my skims cotton plunge bralette along with the cotton rib boxers. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a snack and a water bottle before returning to my room. I placed them on my nightstand before gathering all my study material for the boards.

I huff, "Okay time to study," I say plopping onto my bed. Thirty minutes into my studying session, I was interrupted by a knock on the door. I get out of bed and make my way to the front door. I open the door and the person I see causes me to smile widely. Ja was standing there in his usual chill fit which consisted of a white tee and Nike shorts, this time in the color purple.

"Hey bubs," I move out the way to let him walk in.

He smiles, "Wassup miss doctor," He says giving me a hug after I close the door.

"I missed you," I pout and he pecks my lips twice.

"I missed you too ma. You fasho coming with me next year," He says as he lets me go and walks to the kitchen.

I follow behind him, "I am?" I scrunch my eyebrows.

"Yeah, summer league is always entertaining. And Vegas in general is good vibes and shit. It's just hot as fuck over there," He says while rummaging through my snack cabinet.

"Okay. we're going next year, Ima hold you to it," I nod.

"What did you do for your birthday though?" I ask leaning on the island. He turns around with a cookie in his mouth and holds two more in his hand.
