Location- Kimani and Issac's House
Time- 1:15 pm

"Hey Izzy," I smile as he opens the door for me and Amina.

"Wassup," He greets opening his arms up for a hug. We both give him a hug before we enter the house further.

"What's wrong wit yo legs, why you limping?" Izzy asked as he followed us into the living room.

"It was leg day yesterday, so my legs are a little sore," I lied.

"Ah okay," He nods making me chuckle while Amina sucks her teeth.

"She lyin' Izzy," She says and it takes a minute for it to click in his head.

"You out here being grown, I should beat yo ass," He mugged me as we made it into the living room where Kimani and Asia were sitting.

"Nigga I been grown, don't play me," I say while laughing.

"Hey Mani," I smile while giving a quick side hug.

"Hey girl, I love the hair," She compliments.

"Thank you," I say as I take a seat next to her. Kimano starts asking me questions about my hair and how I got the exact color and I answer them with no problem.

Asia clears her throat, "You don't see me sitting here?" She questions making me instantly roll my eyes.

"I was going to acknowledge you after I got done talking to Kimani, so you can relax," I say.

"I'm just saying like you definitely could've said hi before starting a whole conversation," She replied.

"Unh unh, we're not doing this today, both of ya are gonna be civil today. This beef you two got is getting old," Kimani speaks.

"Anyways, what are we doing today Mani?" Amina asks changing the subject.

"Um, I was thinking of a quick little spa trip, then to eat. That's good wit y'all?" Kimani responds.

"Yeah, that's cool with me," I say as Amina and Asia nod agreeing.

"Okay, let's go," Kimani stands up and you can now see her five-month belly. She gets up and goes over to Issac, bidding him goodbye. The four of us then make our way out of their house.

"You and Amina taking your car?" Mani asks.

"Yup," I say.

"Ight Ima send you the address," She says as the rest of us stand up. Amina and I make it to my car and we get in.

"Are you sure she doesn't have a crush on you or something? Ya could have an enemies-to-lovers trope," Amina teases and I can't help but laugh.

"I hate you for saying that," I shake my head as I pull up the address on my phone.

Location- Maciel's Tortas & Tacos
Time- 3:38 pm

"Going to the spa was needed for sure. I feel so rejuvenated," I say as we all get settled into our seats.

"For real I didn't know how much I needed that," Asia agreed.

"I definitely want to go there again, a couples massage would be perfect," Kimani said while wiggling her eyebrows.

"That's a fact," Asia nods while smiling widely.

"You have a man?" Amina asks raising her eyebrows.

"If you wanna say that," She shrugs.

"She's downplaying it, she's basically in love with that man," Kimani chuckles.

"What's his name?" Amina asks. And as she asks that Asia makes eye contact with me.

"Damn you the feds or something girl," Asia laughs.

"Girl why are you being so secretive, it's not like they know them," Kimani.

"His name is King, I'm pretty sure he's a promoter or something like that," Kimani reveals and I can't help but laugh.

"Wowww. Wasn't expecting that," I say.

"Kimani sometimes you just need to stop talking," Asia groans.

"I'm so lost, what's the problem now?" Kimani asks.

"King was Di's ex," Mina fills her in.

"Oh... what a small world," Kimani says awkwardly.

"Have fun with that one, he cheats a lot," I say making Mina snort.

"He may have cheated on you but that doesn't mean he'll cheat on me," Asia says matter of factly.

"Okay girl," I shrugged and dropped the topic.

Time- 8:02 pm

"Hi my love," I smile walking up to Ja who leaned on his car waiting for me. I also had Kash with me on his leash.

"Wassup baby," He says as he wraps his arms around my waist. He leans down placing a kiss on my lips.

"Hi Didi!" Kaari exclaims making me look over at her. She had her head stuck out of the window.

"Hey lil bit," I leave Ja's arms and go over to Kaari.

"We're getting fro-yo!" She says and I nod.

"I know, you excited?" I ask.

"Mhm, is Kash coming?" She asks pointing at him.

"Yeah, he needs to get out of the house," I say looking down at Kash who was sniffing the ground.

"C'mon mama, I'll put Kash in the back," Ja says while he opens the passenger door for me. I hand the leash over to him before getting in the car. After he puts Kash in the back with Kaari who immediately starts petting him, he gets into the front.

"How was ya little girl's day?" Ja asks as he starts driving.

I shrug, "The only good part about it was the massages, after that, I ain't even wanna be out with them," I tell him.

"Why not?" He chuckles.

"Ion even wanna get into that again, I wanna get my mind off that," I say.

"Ight, so it's safe to say y'all aren't doing a girls' day again?" He asks and I nod.

"For sure not doing it, especially if Asia's there," I state.

"How you feeling about tomorrow though?" I ask looking over at him as he played with his chin hair.

"I'm fasho ready for it, they a fun and challenging team to play. But we gon put on a show," He says.

"I know that's right, I'm excited to watch," I say.

"Lil bit how many points you think daddy gon have tomorrow?" I look back at Kaari.

"Uhh, thirty," She says.

"You think you could score thirty tomorrow bubs?" I ask and he sucks his teeth.

"Baby, you know that's not gon be a problem," He says confidently.

Location- Munchie's Frozen Yogurt

"Daddy, can I have some of yours?" Kaari smiles looking at Ja's cup of frozen yogurt.

"Ya just be eating my stuff for fun at this point," He mumbles before letting Kaari take a spoonful of it.

"You can always say no Temetrius," I chuckle.

"You know damn well I can't say no to ya," He shakes his head.

"True," Kaari says as she begins to dig into her fro-yo.

"You excited about starting your dance classes lil bit?" I ask and she nods frantically.

"Yes, mommy already got all my stuff," She tells us.

"Oh, you're prepared. That's good," I smile.

"Wait till them recitals and shit come up, babygirl gon putting on a show just like her dad," Ja says proudly, and Kaari hums.

"I have no doubt about that," I say.
