Although she was still quite annoyed at the group, when Romina stepped off the Hogwarts Express she was greeted by a welcomed warm embrace. James decided to be the one to pick her up - James alone. He thought it would be best to talk with Romina about everything because Sirius had apparently gotten his knickers in a twist about how angry she was and James realized quickly that he did not want to deal with them fighting one another on what should have been a happy day.

Her face pressed into the crook of his neck as she hugged him back, ignoring the sounds of everyone around them. The bustling of feet and heavy wheels of the trunks being pulled and pushed in every direction.

"I know you're angry at us." James mumbled against the top of her head, pulling back as his hands grasped her shoulders. "But we're so proud of you. Our very own little curse breaker." He beamed, looking like a proud older brother.

"I'm not a curse breaker yet. So you don't need to kiss my ass." Romina raised an eyebrow but soon broke out into laughter as she lurched forward and hugged him again. Putting her anger aside, she did truly miss them. She couldn't believe it, but she did miss James especially. He was the older brother she used to wish Rabastan and Rodolphus would end up being.

"Come on, let's get out of here. Mom and Dad will be excited to see you." James grinned and took her trunk, nodding his head towards the far left side of platform so he could apparate them to the Potter household.

Mom and Dad. Romina couldn't help but smile at the happiness that washed over her at hearing that. She had never used those names for Euphemia and Fleamont but she surely did feel strong about them. And those feelings only intensified in the last year. They had stepped up for a girl they did not know, a girl who came from an extremely dark family. She knew they accepted Sirius without a second thought, but she also knew that the strength of the Lestrange family was far more than that of the Black family.

Shuddering as she got her bearings, Romina hard blinked while James walked off. He was dragging her trunk behind him as he started off to the front door. He had apparated them into the front yard and always the gentleman, had opened the door for Romina.

"Do you have to go back to work?" Romina found herself asking James, looking down at her feet as she closed the door behind her already shrugging off her thin sweater to hang on the nearest empty hook. "James?" Romina called out when he didn't respond. She finally turned to face the inside of the house and let out a gasp.
