Magic Coffee (Hiatus)

Perfectly Imperfect

"Momo!" I shouted as I ran over to her with Lye who beat me to her side. "How'd you sleep?"

"I actually slept well last night. How about you Izuku?"

"Eh, I got a call from my brother so we talked a lot throughout the night. I think I only got an hour of sleep last night so I only slept a quarter of the amount I usually sleep." In truth, we did talk for a long time after I took him back to his base but I actually did a lot of work after I left. I captured and took down a lot of sick fucks throughout the night.

"Do you have insomnia? Maybe I could help you get some medicine to help you sleep better." Momo said as she looked over my face. "Your purple circles don't look too bad though do you cover them with makeup?"

"Nah I'm used to only getting four hours of sleep. Maybe a little more or a little less, so my body has adapted well." I told her in honesty. Her levels were more or less as they should be but her stress was still fairly high. "So what would you like to do after school today? Maybe we could go to the spa for some relaxation?"

"The spa? Hmm, it's been a while since I went to one so I'd be down. Are you okay going though? Maybe we could bring some other classmates for the fun of it."

"I don't mind going but I don't know if they would have the money to go right now and I don't think it's a good idea to let them continuously leach off of you Momo. That's just my own thought though."

"You do have a good point. I could be cut off once everything is over so I should start readying for it to happen. Maybe we can go shopping instead."

"I know it can mess with the algorithm but couldn't you just make the stuff with your quirk? Then instead you could save the money in a different bank account." I offered as an idea as we walked to class. I had shrunk Lye and he had somehow made his way into Momo's arms, something I don't think she had even realized. 

"I suppose I could do that, it would be smarter and probably cheaper and quicker. Oh, I came up with names last night and I need help deciding between two names."

"Oooo names for what?" Ashido asked as she jumped into our conversation. 

"For a pet that Momo wants to get. We've been coming up with names for it." I answered not missing a beat.

"Momo? Are two on a first-name basis already?"

"Yeah, it turns out we knew each other back when we were young," Momo said with a convincing smile. 

"Yup so now we are catching up and all that." I agreed. 

"Damn Midoryia you know a lot of people huh?" I frowned a bit at hearing my last name and some of the memories associated with the name coming to the front of my mind.

"Sorry Momo but I just remembered I forgot something in my dorm. You can keep Lye with you, I'll be back." Without another word, I turned and bolted away from the two before they could see the pain that decorated my face. I had gotten good at not letting it bother me. At not letting my last name ruin my mood or make me feel like shit. I think finding my brother and going to see her grave with him messed up my composer a bit because all I wanted to do now was punch something. Again.

As I was about to ask Izuku if he was alright he told us he had forgotten something before taking off. Lye made a sound between a hiss and a growl at Ashido till I began to pet him. I thought he had made it clear when he said he wanted everyone to call him Ito and that his actual last name reminded him of bad times. If it wasn't Ito then he wanted to be called Izuku, now as he rushed away I couldn't help but wonder what nasty memories were surfacing in his mind.
