We see Fireball XL5 continuing its journey back to Earth. Inside, Robert remains the pilot of the ship. Steve and Venus relax in the lounge with coffee as the woman sits comfortably underneath Steve's arm.
Dr. Venus:
I think we're due with a very well earnt vacation after this is all over, Steve.
Steve Zodiac:
We sure are, Venus. We sure are.
Dr. Venus:
Say, where's Matt?
Steve Zodiac:
Probably still in the workshop trying to see how he can produce the E7 substance artificially.
We see the Professor in the Workshop. The spherical disc sits on the desk, and the Professor reads the scroll.
Professor Matic:
Hmmm. Hmph? Hmmm. I wonder. This formula only states how to produce E7 once you have already been given it. Question is, how do we take E7 from there to within where we want it? If only I wished we could find some way and fast.
The central orange of the disc begins pulsating. The Professor turns around.
What happened? What did I say? Oh, I just don't know. But I'm not so sure. We must find some way of getting what we want from it.
The substance pulsates again.
Eureka! That's it! That's it!
Steve Zodiac is back in the control room with Robert piloting the ship. The Professor contacts Steve, and we will alternate shots between the different parts of the ship, sometimes hearing each other on the radio. The Professor has a bowl of orange substance by the large disc.
Steve! Steve! I've cracked it!
Steve Zodiac:
Hold on, slow down, Professor, what have you found?
Professor Matic:
What we need, in order to get the E7, is just by wanting it. All we have to do is to want what we can of the Novax substance, and we have it.
Steve Zodiac:
Really? That simple?
Professor Matic:
Yeah. I found it by pure chance, Steve. It has produced a liquid substance out from the centre of it. Now, we can make as much as we want and hold it against the Savoxians to end their war.
Steve Zodiac:
Brilliant, Matt. That's just brilliant. I will alert Space City. We need to keep this as top secret. We don't want the Subterrains to find this out.
We cut back to the exterior of Space City with the parked SSRS ships around the site. In the control room, we hear Steve Zodiac calling the control room. The Subterrains and Savox Miners keep holding the WSP crew hostage, and their guns are aimed at them. They remain stood where they were previously.
Fireball XL5 calling Space City. Fireball XL5 calling Space City.
Subterrain 1:
Do not answer it, yet!
Lieutenant Ninety:
If we keep silent, Steve is bound to know something is wrong.
Subterrain 1:
That is why the Commander will answer him the way I say. Now, get over to your desk!
Commander Zero:
And if I don't?
