We open back to view the eerie void of space. The burning, spinning Time Wheel swirls through space, continually exploding flames and fire. One of the Subterrain Space Rescue Service ships blasts along flying parallel to it at a far distance, ensuring they are a safe distance from the dangerous transmitter. The SSRS ship then blasts ahead. KABOOM! It soars away to reach the destination of the Time Wheel's target before it. This then cuts back to view the exterior of Space City. Inside the control centre of the revolving tower, the Commander waits impatiently in his seat for Steve's progress to be reported.

Commander Zero:

Come on, Steve. Where are you? Report in.

Lieutenant Ninety:

Shall I try and contact him on the Nutroni Transmitter, Commander?

Commander Zero:

No, no, Lieutenant. I'm just getting impatient, that's all. All this waiting around where nothing happens unsettles me. Zodiac is the best man for the job. If he can't crack the code to the formula, nobody can.

Lieutenant Ninety:

No, Commander.

Eleanor and Jonathan Zero arrive at the control room unexpectedly to greet their husband/father.

Jonathan Zero:

Hi dad!

Eleanor Zero:

Hi there, honey.

Commander Zero:

Son? Honey? What are you both doing here again? I'm supposed to be at work here.

Jonathan Zero:

Yeah, we don't mean to interrupt you dad, but we thought we'd take Zoonie for a bit of fresh air.

Eleanor Zero:

We've been looking after him recently so he hasn't been getting up to any trouble. But we thought he needed some exercise out of the house.

Zoonie arrives in the control room.

Zoonie:

HHHOOWWWDDYYYY FFFOOLLLLLKKSSS!!!!!

The Commander rises up.

Commander Zero:

Do you have to bring him up here after all the trouble he's caused in here?

Jonathan Zero:

But dad, he wasn't doing anything in the house.

Commander Zero:

Lazoons don't need any exercise. They're lazy creatures, and need to be kept out of trouble.

We then see the SSRS ships in space approaching Earth's atmosphere. This then shows the ship headed directly towards the Earth. Meanwhile, Zoonie acts sadly next to Jonathan as the Commander says that he needs to be kept away from him.

Eleanor Zero:

He hasn't caused any mischief in the house, Wilbur. In fact, he's been very good.

Commander Zero:

Maybe, and I'm delighted to hear it. But he cannot stay here.

Zoonie mopes sadly.

Jonathan Zero:

Don't worry, Lazoon. We can head back home and eat lots of yummy, delicious Martian delights and watch interesting space programs on the TV.

Commander Zero:
