"boss, you will be attending the graduation ceremony at yonsei university tomorrow evening. they want to invite you as a special guest due to your great achievements." jay's secretary informed him. in a short span of 5 years, jay had established several business chains and was now a successful man. the name of his university caused his stomach to twist as memories of him and jungwon came flooding back to his head.

"jungwon, the ceremony will be held tomorrow at your university. you have been invited as a special guest. congratulations!" jungwon's colleague announced excitedly. jungwon was now one of the top physiologists. he decided to switch his career path so as to reach more individuals and this involved a lot of hard work which have all paid off.
why am i thinking of you again jay?

jay put on his best suit, fixed his necktie and looked at himself in the mirror. fixing his collar, he flashed a bright smile before heading out of the door. jungwon on the other hand started panicking and rushed to wear his clothes.

as soon as jungwon stepped into the large hall, he noticed a familiar figure in the midst of the crowd. it was jay. his stomach twisted as he saw jay. jay was shining so bright. he's neat suit, gelled hair, sharp eyes and angular jaw, made jungwon's heart skip a beat. he tried his best to forget jay but failed miserably. however, during their time apart, he had finally healed from his wounds and learned how to live a better life, even without jay.

jungwon snapped out of his trance when he noticed jay starting at him. jay froze. jungwon looked so handsome that night. he had styled his hair with a middle part, his uniquely shaped jaw hitting off the lights, his deep eyes which could see a thousand words. jay was mesmerised. he too, had tried to move on. but what could he do? jungwon had a big role in his life after all.

mustering up the courage, jay excused himself and walked towards the younger who stood rooted to the ground.

"hi. how have you been?" jay asked.
i missed you he meant.

"i've been good. congratulations on your achievements. i saw you on the news recently" jungwon smirked.
i'm proud of you, always he was meaning to say.

"you too. i really enjoyed your guesting on that medical show" jay replied.

the two were then informed to prepare for their talk.

"...success doesn't come all at once. it requires hard work, determination and a strong-minded spirit. someone was there for me but i wasn't there for them. i think it's important to treasure the people around us. always be supportive and don't take others for granted. always stay humble and do what is best for yourself and others. you're important too and your feelings matter. don't forget that." jay said. jungwon looked at him from the backstage. was he talking about me?

jungwon stepped onto the stage nervously and took over jays spot. jay gave him a thumbs up before leaving the stage with a round of applause from the audience.

"i have never expected myself to be on such a stage, especially to be here on this day to share my story. when i was your age, i was struggling to cope. i was thankful to have someone by my side, someone who was willing to sacrifice their times for me. being a student was tough, but loving others is tougher. as you move on to your different occupations, i hope you always thank those around you, be understanding, and most importantly, be kind to yourself." jungwon said to the students, gaining a loud applause.
