it was a friday night. the couple was enjoying their lack night snacks paired with some soju as always, talking about everything. that was until jungwon's eyes landed on a family laughing away seated in front of him. jungwon rested his arm on his face as he admired how lovely the family looked. their daughter was super adorable and this made jungwon a little envious. jay followed his gaze and saw the family as well. reaching for jungwon's arm, he lightly caressed his hand.
"what's on your mind?" jay asked with a slight smile on his face.
"it's nothing... they just look really happy" jungwon said.
"we can have that too" jay said with a serious expression.
"stop being silly we aren't even married" jungwon chuckled.
"yet" jay replied before instantly grabbing the bottle cap from the soju. he quickly tore out the metal part from the bottom of the cap and formed a ring. jungwon shook his head at his silliness.
"will you marry me, yang jungwon?" jay asked while teasingly showing off his handmade ring in the air, causing jungwon to shoot a playful gaze.
"sorry but i need a diamond ring" jungwon teased. jay shrugged and slid the 'ring' onto his finger nevertheless.
jungwon took another bottle of soju and did the same as his lover and wore the ring on jay's finger, causing jay to break into a huge smile.
"husband?" jay asked while wiggling his eyebrows.
"husband" jungwon replied, his dimple showing.
