Ryders p.o.v

beep beep beep!

     Ugh no....

beep Beep Beep!

     Shut up!

Beep Beep BEEP!

     Why!? I thought.  I turned over and slammed my hand on the alarm clock. I looked over and saw that it was 7 a.m. but also a crack on the screen. Sighing I got up. My parents are gonna be pissed if they found out I already messed it up cause that's the second one this month. Walking to Jasmine's room I opened the door and tiptoed to her bed. I shook her shoulder softly but she swatted my hand away. Rolling my eyes I threw off her blankets.

     She gasped at the cold air and sat up with a pout. "Ryder give me my blankets please." She said holding out her hands. She let her eyes water a little and I had to look away. She always uses puppy eyes and I always fall for it! I'm a sucker for that and she uses it to her advantage.

     "Jaz come on don't do that we gotta go to school." I said seriously. She tried for a little longer but I refused to look at her. She sighed but got out of her bed while I smiled and walked to the bathroom.  Turning on the shower I slipped off my basketball shorts and got in. I washed my body and hair with my vanilla scented soap and just stood under the water for a while.

     "Ryder you take longer than I do in the shower! Come on I gotta use the bathroom too." She said while I laughed but got out of the shower anyway. 

     Wrapping a towel around my waist I opened the door and pet her head. "Its all yours now Jaz." She rushed in and slammed the door. I laughed and went to my room. Walking to my dresser I pulled out a pair of jeans, boxers, and a white shirt.  I slipped on my clothes along with some socks and my black and white Nikes. Quickly grabbing my black jacket and backpack off my desk chair I rushed down stairs to the kitchen.

     We were late and I had to make food for me and Jasmine. When I got in the kitchen I saw a note on the kitchen table. Picking it up it said:

Dear kids
Your father and I had to go to the pack house to take care of some business. A neighboring Alpha is coming to renegotiate the terms of our alliance. I left 40 dollars for food or anything else you kids want. We will be home at around 10 p.m. Have a nice day and be good.

     Frowning I put the money in my pocket and got out the ingredients for waffles. I guess it's normal for my parents to not be here in the morning and not to come back till late.  I'm gonna have to do that one day when I turn 21 years old. A couple minutes later Jasmine came down and sat at the table. I handed her a plate of waffles and sat down with my own. Jasmine put a shit load amount of Nutella on her waffles then topped it off with some strawberries. I ate mine with a lot less Nutella than my sister and put some bananas on it.

     I got up and grabbed 2 water bottles tossing one to Jasmine.  We went to my car and I drive off. Jasmine had the radio on and was singing along to Taylor Swift with the windows down. We were half way to school when I smelled my Mate's delicious sent. I looked around and only saw a boy walking with an old backpack on. I'm guessing that's my mate and he's going to school. My wolf was getting excited and I started following him without realizing it.  He turned and I was amazed.  He was beautiful. His blond hair looked like bed head but it was cute on him. His eyes were baby blue and he had the cutest little nose I have ever seen.

     Mate! Go get mate. My wolf told me.

     Hold on I don't want to scare him again. I told him.

     My mate quickly turned back around and ran into the forest. I quickly parked the car and told Jasmine to go to school without me. "Wait Ryder! Where are you going?" She yelled.

    "I'll tell you later Jaz!" I yelled back running after my mate.

     So much for not scaring mate huh?

     Shut up Tallinn! I told my wolf.

     Following his sent I started catching up to him. Damn can my mate run! I saw him crash to the floor fast and rushed to him. I was panting while he turned over to look at me with wide eyes. "Damn you can run fast! Why were you running from me? Here." I said smiling and holding my hand out to help him up. He only started crawling backwards while shaking his head, no.

     He stood his full height which is around 5'9". Maybe? I was 6'3" and could tell that I like him already but why does he keep running from me? He turned to run again and said " I have to go." my wolf let out a whimper from my mouth and he froze. He started running forward as a whine left his mouth.

     "Wait please don't go." I said lunging and grabbed his arm to spin him around. He only looked at the floor and did nothing else. "Please don't run anymore mate." I said in his ear. Ok I know it's messed up but I don't want him to leave and if we are close the mate bond will get stronger and he will want to be around me more. He tensed when spoke in his ear so that's a good sign, right?. "I know you know who I am so why do you run from me?" I whispered to him and he shivered. My wolf was getting excited and made me take a step forward so that we had more contact with our mate. The shocks felt so good and I was starting to get hard.

     His breathing was becoming uneven so I tilted his head up and arched my eyebrow in question.  He gasped at how close our faces were and looked back down blushing. It looked adorable on him and I know I have to see that blush again soon. "Because I know you won't want me." He said then pushed on my chest but I only wrapped my arms around him to keep him close.

     His eyes glazed over and I'm guessing he's talking to his inner dog. Its easy to tell because you basically zone out while you talk with them. My wolf doesn't like it though because he's ignoring us.

     We could always give him something to pay attention to. I suggested to my wolf.

     Do it. My wolf hummed.

     I walked my mate back into a nearby tree. I wanted to smell his fresh woodsy sent so I nestled my face in his neck. I started laying soft kisses around his neck trying to get his attention back. I felt his body tremble and I smirked.

     Well Tallinn I guess we got his attention. I told him and he gave a quiet growl.

     "Are you finally gonna come with me? It's not true what you said. I want to get to know you more not push you away. What's your name?" I said. He stayed quiet but I was impatient and wanted to know so I licked his neck. He let out a soft moan and my wolf took over for a second to growl in approval.  He started grinding us together and our mate moaned loudly.  Fuck that feels so good! I got control back from my wolf and asked "Well mate are you gonna tell me?"

     He was blushing a beautiful red color and avoiding eye contact but said "My name is Ty." I liked the name it was nice but I guess I don't think that name really goes with him. Smiling I nodded and took a step back. He suddenly started running away from me into the woods again. I was in shock. Why does he keep running from me? Well I just hope he's going to school since he had a backpack on. I walked out of the forest then jogged to school. On my way there I got random compliments and wolf whistles from some girls.

     Why do you think he ran away Tallinn?

     Mate scared. He said.

     I already know that. I told him.

     Then why did you ask! He growled.

     Don't get your tail in a bunch. I laughed.

     It never is! He bristled in my head. At least I won't let mate run from me. I chase mate. He stated.

    Pft whatever dude.

I said and walked on school grounds and to my English class. Opening the door the whole class and teacher look my way. "Ah a pleasure for you to finally come to class Ryder." Mrs Velez said. I nodded and took my seat. Sighing I looked out the window ignoring the lesson and daydreaming about Ty.
