Ryders p.o.v

     " Ok um are you ok? Why did Kevan beat you up?" I asked. I wanted to know so I could help him if he has problems. I won't let my mate suffer like he was before ever again.  Shuddering at the memory of his bruised body I turned my attention back to him.

     "Because he's an asshat." Ty muttered. He was glaring at my floor and had clenched fists. "He only picks on me cause he can." He said and looks me in the eyes with a rage in his.

     " What do you mean because he can?" I asked. From what I've seen so far Ty is pretty fast. I'm sure he could out run Kevan, heck I have trouble catching him! Ty tensed and didn't speak for a minute but I let him have a moment since he seemed uneasy right now.

     "Um because he's stronger than me?" He said but it was more of a question than a statement.  He's lying to me but I'll get him to tell me about that another day. Sitting up straight me and my wolf were determined to take away all the reasons why he has to lie to us.

     "Well he's not gonna do it anymore so you don't have to worry about it anymore." He looked at me incredulously but seemed to relaxed when I changed the subject.  Huh I guess he doesn't believe me.  "I might have pushed him around a little." I said rubbing my neck. I didn't want to upset him by telling him I beat someone up, sorta. I also don't want to give him a reason to be scared of me and run away. Ty surprised me by leaning over and giving me a hug.

     "Thank you." He whispered. He pulled back before I could hug him back. I almost whined at the loss of contact but managed to make it a cough. "I'm fine now nothing is hurting too bad."

     "It hurts. Do you want a pain pill? I asked. I wanted my mate to be a hundred percent better. Looking at his body it looks a lot better now that it was treated. I smiled to myself satisfied that I helped my mate.

     "No its ok, I'm ok." He assured me. He had a slight blush on his cheeks as he kept looking at the floor.

     "Hey are you hungry?" I didn't know when he last ate and I wanted to start filling him up a little. His head snapped in my direction and he nodded vigorously.  I chuckled and asked "Ok then what do you want to eat?"

    He seemed to think for a while then with a frown he said "Anything is fine Ryder."

     "Is pizza ok?" I asked. I don't really know how to cook anything unless it's a breakfast food so I think it's safer to order something for delivery for now.
    "Sure! I never tried pizza." He said the first part to me and the second part under his breath. My eyes widened and my mouth felt like it was gonna hit the floor. He hasn't tried pizza? My poor deprived little mate!

     "Like never ever?" I asked just to make sure I heard him right. He blush bright red while playing with his fingers but nodded his head. I quickly got my phone out of my pocket and and dialed the number for the nearest pizzeria. "Hello I would like an extra large pepperoni pizza for delivery ASAP. Send it to the alphas house." With that I put it away and stare at my mate.

     "Stop staring at me Ryder." He muttered.

     Chuckling I told him "it's a free country Ty I can stare if I want and what a beautiful sight it is." Groaning he fell back on the bed and wrapped himself in my blankets like he was in a cocoon. My wolf whined at how he was hiding so I walked forward and layed my body over his, wrapping him in a strong hug.

     He wiggled around until his head popped out of the blankets. Laughing I rolled over so he was on top of me. "Ryder let me go." He said with a chuckle.

     "Why? Everything I need is in my arms right now." I say with a smirk and he only buries his face in my neck. We stay like that, him snuggling into my chest while I cuddled him like I used to do with my teddy bear. Don't judge me just yet! I was 12 and that bear is special!  I still have it on my computer desk.
