"Wake up, Enderson!" A gruff voice shouted.

Ranboo bolted up, alarmed. Laughter filled his ears, and he relaxed as he realized it was his football team.

"Dang, I must've fallen asleep." Ranboo muttered, rubbing at his eyes.

His coach chuckled.

"Yeah, no worries, Ranboo. Your brother took care of all your missed classes for today."

Ranboo's eyes widened.

"H-holy crap, I've been asleep since lunch?!"

"Yeah." Purpled said, offering him a hand up. Ranboo took it and was pulled to his feet.

"You sure you're okay, Ranboo?" Purpled whispered.

Ranboo nodded.

"Yeah. Yeah I'm fine."

Coach clapped his hands together, drawing the team's attention.

"Alright, boys, I know we don't normally meet today, but I won't be here for a few weeks. My wife and I are going on a vacation to Hawaii to renew our vows."

"How sweet."

"Aw that's nice."

"Damn, congrats!"

Coach waved his hand to silence them.

"Yes, thank you. But we have a game not too long from when I get back, so I expect you all to stay in shape while I'm gone. Ranboo, you can lead a few practices in my absentee, but I don't expect you to keep our regular schedule. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays would probably be a decent amount, just to keep everyone's heads in the game."

Ranboo gave a brief nod. Maybe he could get Clay to coach a few practices!

"The rest of you, don't screw around. Ranboo is still your captain and you will treat him as such. If I find out you weren't obeying him, you'll be punished or kicked off the team. We don't tolerate disrespect," Coach said, eyeing the players one at a time. "Any questions?"

One of the freshmen raised their hand.

"Yes, Quinn?"

"So, not that Ranboo isn't great or anything, but do you really think it's a good idea to have him schedule practices? I mean, he'll probably just sleep through it."

Everyone laughed.

"Oh come on, that was one time!" Ranboo said, joining the laughter.

"And just now!" Someone called.

Ranboo shrugged.

"Okay, okay. You all have a point. But, hey, Dream won't sleep through practices."

The older players' eyes lit up.

"You're going to have your brother coach us?!"

"Wait, Dream's coming?"

"Really?!"

Ranboo looked at Coach.

"I mean... if it's alright with you, Coach?"

Coach smiled.

"Of course. Dream is a great leader."

"Who's Dream?" Someone asked.

"Dude, you really don't know? He was the best football player this school ever had!" Someone said.
