Part 8| The Ultimate Power?

"This is where your power awakens" she said to me. "Haha w h a t" I said. I got up and walked to the bathroom. I saw myself in the mirror "how'd this red paint get in my hair? Why'd no one tell me about this!?" Wondrous' spirit appeared behind me "I don't know I thought you dyed your hair, looks good tho. :)" she said. "Maybe when I'll wash this out I'll actually dye my hair" I said confidently. "Good idea" she replied. "Thanks ghost lady" I said. "Hahaha very funny" she said sarcastically. "Ok shoo I need to take a shower." I said. "Ok bye gem!" She said. Still don't know why she calls me that but ok. I [REDACTED] and got in the shower, washing all the paint out my hair. I washed the rest of my body got out and threw on a towel. I went into my room and got dressed "it's nice to see again" I said aloud. "Ok time to study this book and see how I can work this.. how did I manifest her spirit into my sensory reality?" I said talking to myself.

She appeared behind me "you can change the future so if it's in the future then it'll happen even if it means seconds into the future." She said which startled me. "What the fuck no name why do you just appear? And I guess that makes sense.." I said. "Because I can, also yeah so all you have to do is want it to happen like really want it to happen and it will happen, your basically god. Except you can't revive people from the dead." She said gesturing to her body on the floor. "Oh right how do I get rid of that?" I asked. "Just manifest it'll disappear I don't know" she answered. I closed my eyes and.. it didn't disappear "uhhhhhh what the hell it's not gone." I said. "Oh right your not great with controlling your power and using your energy effectively." She muttered. "But it's ok I'll make its look I'm alive and throw the body off a bridge and hopefully people will think I died that way."

I saw her spirit go into her dead body and it started moving again. She walked out the house to the nearest bridge. I followed her but a little far behind so people don't suspect me. I saw her jump off the bridge and her spirit escaped the body right as the body started to fall. She gave me a thumbs up and I ran to the body falling off the bridge looking over the edge and screaming "NOOOOOOO!" To make it seem real. I faked crying and walked home wondrous' spirit rolling her eyes behind me. I finally got home and stopped my fake crying locking the door and my phone rang. I answered it because it was a call from my boss "hello sir, we're sorry to say you're fired from McDonald's social media management. You haven't been doing much the past few days so yea sorry lol" and the phone made that horrific call ended sound. Shit my money! Oh well my parents pay rent anyways ,well at least till I'm 18. "What was that?" Asked wondrous. "Oh I got fired." I answered "that's not good gem, well if you learn how to use your power you can manifest for money to just appear. So you have some time right?" She asked. "Of course I do it's just.. do I really want to use these powers... I mean I'm way too powerful without controlling them I brought your spirit into my sensory reality.." I said worried. "Strong words big man but uhhhh it was due to strong emotion and using all your energy on it." She said.

"Oh so I need to have more energy and focus to use my powers." I asked. "Of course! That's right! You go girl!" She said. "Uhhhh what?" I said confused. "I don't know anymore" she said. I sat down and played calming music on my phone with headphones and meditated. I took deep breaths making sure my energy was 'pure' and that I could use more of it. I took the book and put it in my lap I opened it and layed my hands gently on it 'absorbing its energy' and such. I'm not sure I wasn't much for witchy activities. I meditated like this for maybe an hour before calmly opening my eyes and getting up to stretch. "Say gem how was your little energy cleansing activity?" Snickered wondrous. "Why do you call me gem?" I asked. "Like I said you're the gem who got lucky with ultimate power so I call you gem." She answered. "That's not my name Mrs. no name." I said. "I don't care what your name is you're the gem, similar to how I called my grandmother 'Granny. Lot' cause to her this book was her winning lottery numbers but better." She replied. "Oh so unique. So did you come up with wondrous yourself too?" I jokingly asked "yep" she answered.

Didn't expect that but kind of did. "Interesting, you put a dad joke on everyone's name or what?" I asked. "Nah just people I find important." She answered. "Cool I guess." I said. "Try to use your power now" she said excitingly. I sat down again closed my eyes trying to manifest some dice to appear. Just so it stays simple. I focused and I felt stronger but the result wasn't any better. Nothing happened and I was disappointed. I kind of just gave up for the night and went to bed. I woke up to wondrous violently shaking me. "GEM!" She screamed. "Wha- why are you here, I thought you'd want to at least feel at home in your own house right?" I asked. "Personal issues but uh.." she said throwing dice on me. "Your powers are stronger in your dreams.. we have to be careful." She said. "I don't have time for this no name!" I said falling back asleep. "GEM YOU BITCH THIS IS SERIOUS IF YOU DREAM OF SOMETHING BAD IT'LL COME TRUE!! WE HAVE TO MAKE SURE DREAMS DONT MANIFEST SO YOU HAVE TO MANIFEST YOU CAN ONLY MANIFEST FULLY AWAKE!" She screamed in my ear "JESUS OK! CALM DOWN!" I screamed back. I slowly got up and focused on all my energy. "Manifest it! You're the gem!" 

I focused all my energy on it. My eyes automatically opened and of course it's as bright as ever. "Holy shit! Holy shit!" I heard wondrous scream. I saw the brightness that I saw before. The brightness once again turned to darkness and I felt tired and flopped over. I woke up to wondrous squealing. "IT WORKED THE DICE DISAPPEARED WHICH MEANS YOU MANIFESTED DREAMS CANT DO ANYTHING!" "Calm down no name. I kind of passed out now I'm extremely light headed." I said. "Sorry sorry just really excited." She said. "Ugh" I said my head gravitating back to the ground as I blacked out again.
