Yoongi POV

When I woke up, disoriented and confused, I immediately panicked when I noticed that Jimin was no longer next to me.

I settled down a little when I remembered that we were in our new home, and we were safe, but I still pulled myself out of the heavenly bed and searched for him. Hobi didn't even move.

There were no sounds of life in the house so I concluded that we must have slept in and Y/N had already left.

What if he did something dumb and tried to follow Y/N to work?

Before I even made it a few steps out of our room, I caught his scent and followed it into Y/N's room. And there he was.

Tucked in and sleeping soundly in her bed. As much as I wanted to scold him for going into her personal space, her comforting smell was already calming me. I wanted nothing more right now than to join Jimin and surround myself in her scent.

I honestly couldn't blame him. I knew how much he wanted to sleep in her bed with her, even just in his cat form, but he was too shy to ask. So this would have been the next best thing.

What she doesn't know won't hurt her, right?

Leaving him there, I went back to our room to check on Hobi. He was dead to the world. Wow, it's crazy what a decent bed can do. I had to admit that it was probably one of the most comfortable nights I've ever had. Even as someone who is not a morning person, I felt so rested and refreshed.

I didn't want to wake either of them just yet. They had been sleeping on a 'temporary' shelter bed for the last two years so I wanted them to enjoy their first night in a real bed.

Making my way to the kitchen, I noticed the note from Y/N on the bench. It made me happy that she thought to leave this for us since she didn't want to wake us to say goodbye. I could faintly smell Jimin's scent here so he must have come here first before settling in her bed.

The clock above the fridge told me that it was 11am. I decided to start preparing lunch for myself and the boys. Perhaps the smell of food would be the nicest way to wake them.

I had the TV on quietly in the background as I slowly prepared food. I was in no rush to get things cooked, the boys were still asleep and I wasn't starving yet. There was a random cooking show on and I decided to pay some attention to it, in case it could give me some ideas for my future cooking ventures.

I had decided to prepare spicy noodles with vegetables. It was simple enough that I didn't have to think too much, as I was still feeling mushy from my sleep, but it was still tasty and nutritious.

The smell of the spicy sauce must have wafted through the house because Hobi came waddling in not long after I started simmering it.

"I want to live in that bed." He said unprompted.

I just laughed at him. He picked up the note Y/N left and read through it.

"We didn't even get to scent her" he was literally yawning as he spoke.

"We will have many more mornings to say goodbye and scent her before she leaves" I reminded him.

He just nodded and sat himself down at the kitchen bench.

"Where's Jimin?" he only just noticed.

On queue, Jimin stumbled his way into the kitchen, probably lured in from the smell of food. He must have heard Hobi's question because he just blushed and looked guiltily at the floor. I smirked at him and prompted him to answer.
