Y/N POV
"Okay, that's all of the glasses done, how are you going with the plates?" I closed up the box, turning to look at the hybrids helping me.
"Um... good" Yoongi hummed out.
He and Jin were in charge of packing up all the plates, I trusted them the most with the kitchen items. I checked their box, smiling when I saw all the plates stacked neatly, pieces of cardboard placed in between to make sure they didn't break.
The others were in charge of packing up the non-breakable items. The three youngest, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook, were doing the bedrooms; boxing up all the blankets, packing the clothes, and attempting to clean as they went along.
Hobi and Namjoon took care of the living room, packing the cushions and odd knickknacks, and pushing all of the furniture into one area to be ready to get loaded into the van tomorrow.
We were all buzzing with excitement, ready to move into our new place. Jisoo's old tenants were now out and the house was clean and ready to go. Over the last few weeks, I had managed to budget my money enough to keep us afloat, the only thing getting me through it being the knowledge that our rent would soon be cut in half.
As difficult as it was, I tried to keep my distance from Taehyung, not letting his scent get too attached to my skin and hair. On weekends I would ease up, but during the week we had to be careful. I made sure to shower thoroughly every morning, and wear freshly washed clothes.
A random check at the research centre only solidified the fact that Lucas was still looking for Taehyung. I wondered how furious his family was with him, and if they were using their influence to help with the search. Taehyung hadn't been outside since the night Lucas came over. I was starting to worry that he would feel like a prisoner here, having to watch the rest of the guys come and go as they pleased, while he was stuck inside.
"What's next?" Yoongi asked, letting Jin close up and move the box of plates.
"Um... how about cutlery, that should be easy enough," I turned around to look at the kitchen to see what else needed to be packed up.
"and I don't think there's much left to do in he-AGH!" I squealed as Yoongi snuck up behind me and lifted me up by my waist.
He simply laughed at me as he spun me around, obviously finding my shock entertaining.
"I can do that." Yoongi finally placed me back on the floor, whispering into my ear as he back-hugged me.
It was safe to say that over the last few weeks, we had grown much closer. The other 6 guys were now fully aware of our relationship, even though we hadn't put a label on it yet. Like we had agreed originally, we were taking this slow.
"Okay, you do that and I'll get started on- Yoongi!" He cut me off once again by attacking the side of my neck with his lips.
"We should take a break, we've been packing for 40 whole minutes" Yoongi paused his attack to suggest the idea.
My chest spasmed with giggles, of course the big cat would want to take a break. If I had to take a guess, he would want to sit outside in the sun.
"How about we all take a break once we've finished the kitchen. I'll order something for lunch?" I suggested instead, rubbing his arms that were still wrapped around my waist
Yoongi made a disappointed noise, headbutting my shoulder with his forehead. His soft ear tickled my neck and made me shiver. I brought my hand up to scratch at them in hopes to make him more open to my idea.
