Taehyung POV

I watched their feet from under the bed, eyes following their footsteps that led them out of the room. My mind was a blurry mess and I couldn't pick one thought from another.

I ran away.

Master doesn't know where I am.

Will the research centre call him to tell him I'm missing?
Will he send out a search party for me?
Does he care that I'm gone?
Something smells familiar in this house.
Will Y/N be mad that I'm here?
But she seemed so nice when she came over, she even asked me for a cuddle!

I couldn't believe my luck when Yoongi told me the plan to get me out of the centre. I didn't think he would actually help me, especially not bring me home to where his master was.

The footsteps got further and further away until I could hear everyone talking in the living room again. Yoongi told me to go hide in another room, but which other room? I didn't know this house. Should I just find any other room and hide there?

Another option was to just stay here because it smelt strongly of Y/N, but it was cold and uncomfortable and dark under the bed and I didn't like it. I shifted back into my snake form and, after checking that there was no one walking around, I slithered out from under the bed.

The door had been left open, so I peeked my head out to check the hallway. I could tell that one direction led to the living room where everyone was, so I decided to go the other way, keeping close to the wall.

I pushed my body forward, seeing an open door to another room. Bingo. Wiggling inside, I spotted a giant bed. I could smell the strong scents of other hybrids here, they did not smell like the ones I could smell on Y/N that one time though...

"We have an entire other pack living here..."

There's other hybrids here too! I wonder if Y/N adopted another pack? Or maybe they're just staying for a little while? Jimin did say that I could stay for a bit.

The bed looked too comfortable to pass up, so I managed to pull myself up and slithered under one of the pillows. There was no heat source so I was still cold, but I would just have to suck it up.

The growl emitting from my stomach reminded me that I hadn't eaten since lunch. I wonder if they would give me food here? I tried to ignore the hunger pangs and distract myself with sleep. Maybe if rested then I could actually think properly and come up with a plan.

Did I even need a plan? What if I could just stay here? That would be nice.

That would ... be... very, very nice....

"Why did he bring him here?"
"I don't know Kookie but I'm sure he had a good reason"
"But what if we are too many, and Y/N kicks us all out! I don't want to leave!"

Voices woke me from my rest. I realised I was still coiled under the pillow, hidden away from the mysterious hybrids. Maybe they wouldn't notice me, and I could hide for the rest of the night.

That hope vanished as soon as it came. Big warm hands slid under the pillow, pushing right into my body as a weight came to rest on top. I felt the body on top of me freeze, before it practically lept away with an accompanying scream.

"AAGHHH!"

The pillow was torn off, and I was now exposed. The room was too bright, and I hissed at the sudden blinding light. Wrong move.
