Chapter III : How to be Rye? 2.0

Rye POV,

"You need to focus. You need to be competitive. You need to be smart. You should use your mind than following your heart. Be stronger. Don't be soft-hearted. In this field, your only rival is your soft side so you must endure everything. Don't ever bother to worry someone, just focus on yourself. Be better. Do you understand? --- Rye?"

Napabuga ako ng malalim na hininga nang inalala ang sinabi ni Jessi-- the woman who wear a white heels. Hindi ko alam kong bakit ko ito ginagawa, hindi naman ito konektado sa mama ko. Hindi ko lubos maisip na magiging isa akong Entertainer. Sa madaling salita I'm a member of a modus/scammer.

"She's here. She's wearing  a white fitted dress, black sandals, LV handbag. Be ready and focus everyone. To Rye, you can do this we're depending on you." naramdaman ko ang mga mata na nakatingin sa akin matapos sabihin ng kung sino man 'yon behind our earphone. So, they're watching us, as if we're on a film. Mas lalo tuloy akong kinakabahan.

Parang nakisabay ang mga buto ko sa aking katawan dahil sa pagtunog ng bell na nakasabit sa entrance door ay ang panginginig ko.

"Good day, Miss." rinig ko sa kasamahan ko nang batiin ang kabit ng isang politiko --- a well-known politics in our City.

Ilang beses akong nagpakawala nang malalim na hininga at nilalaro patago ang mga kaliwang kamay ko nang biglang may nagsalita

"Rye,"  the old man. Napatingin tuloy ako sa harapan nang marinig ko ang boses niya. Nagtama agad ang tingin namin ng babae na puntirya namin ngayon. "Focus." yun lang at wala na ulit akong narinig.

"Uhm, parang bago mga mukha niyo ah."  the lady said at tinignan kami isa-isa.

Ngumiti ako at nilapitan siya "Yes. We are, miss. Let me assist you of e--everything" napakagat ako ng palihim sa dila ko nang mautal ako.

"Are you sure? It's fine. Maybe, I'll come back tomorrow. Wala dito yung hinahanap ko."

"She's referring to the one of the employee of the Boutique. The designer and have the sense of fashion. We're done tackling this yesterday, remember? So, if one of you have the sense of those. Please..."

"Nasa vacation break sila lahat, Miss. But, as for me. You have the curve body, not so tall height but very good in all angle. You're good in wearing white clothes to be honest but I think you will be sexy and beautiful if you wear something like this color of your bag" tinuro ko ang kulay gold na nasa handbag niya

"Gold?"

Tumango ako sa tanong niya "Yes. An elegant color gold. Would you mind if I choose your dress?"

"That sounds interesting. Yes please."

Yesterday's Meeting in Hideout

Nakatingin kami lahat sa big screen na nasa harapan namin ngayon. There's too many pictures. Alam ko ang ginagawa namin dito. They will explain to us our mission and our duty was to listen to them and apply those in our actual. 

"This is Stella. The mistress of one of the well-known politics in our City, Senator Gumi. Miss Stella likes shopping of one of the boutique name 'Pixie Class Boutique'. Remember everyone, you should call her Miss if you encounter her tomorrow."

"Your mission is to gain her trust, assist her in finding her dress or so whatever. This is Gandang D, her favorite assistant in this boutique. Gandang D have the sense of fashion that she really likes. If you successfully gain her trust. Miss Stella will give her credit card but.. to be honest, that is secret black card of Senator Gumi. So, that will be our mission next. Galingan niyo sa pag arte. Pag walang nagsabing ayos na ang lahat dito, walang mawawala sa sarili. Understood?"   Sophie end the meeting afterwards.

I can definitely say right now that Miss Stella really likes the dress I chose for her. Ilang beses ko na bang naririnig ang mga salitang

"Omg! It's very nice!!! Look at this one. It really suited to my style. Wow, I can't believe it. You're so good at everything. I'll definitely find you next time if I'll be back here."

Yang salitang 'nice' niya. Nakakarindi din pala ang boses pabebe niya. Dito kaya nahulog yung Senator Gumi sa kaniya? Tae, nakakasuka.

"Thank you so much, dear. I'll pay for it na pala kasi may next lakad pa pala ako"

"Yes, sure. Let's go to the counter Miss." sinamahan ko siya hanggang sa counter area. Ngumiti ako sa kasamang babae ko na nakaassign dun sa area.

"Can you give it to her?"  nabaling ang tingin ko kay Miss Stella nang iabot niya sa akin ang black card. Maarte niyang tinitigan ang kasama ko na nasa counter area. Kinuha ko naman yung black card at inabot sa kasamahan ko ngunit bigla siyang umiling.  Umubo naman ang kasamahan kong babae na nasa malapit ng pintuan ng boutique. The one who greet Miss Stella earlier. Siguro nagpapahiwatig na siya na ayusin namin ang trabaho namin dito? Nasa last part na kami nang exciting part.

Napakunot ang noo ko sa babaeng nasa counter.

"Is there any problem?" mataray na sabi ni Miss Stella sa babae.

"I---i..."

"What are you doing, lady?"  rinig namin sa earphone namin. Lahat kami na nasa boutique ay napatingin sa babae na nasa counter. Nakayuko lamang siya.

"What? May problema sa card?" Miss Stella. Kita ko na talagang naiinip na siya sa inaasta ng kasamahan ko.

Agad kaming napahawak sa tenga namin nang biglang may malakas na echo "Update. Update. Update. This is Riego. I already give there the key of the bus after I snatched it from the bag of driver.  Everything's okay in the mission? The manager will be there in exactly 30 minutes from now."

"Ako na lamang po." dali-dali akong pumasok at pinalitan ang kasama ko sa pwesto niya. Agad kong nislide ang black card para mabasa agad.

"It's connected now." rinig ko sa earphone namin. Ibibigay ko na sana ang black card kay Miss Stella nang magsalita si Sophie "Wait, rye. Can you give the number of the card?"

"Done, dear?" Miss Stella

"A-ah, there's a problem. Wait a minute, Miss. I'm so sorry. I'll fix it immediately." peke akong tinitignan ang computer at ang black card "BDK-00-19986---"

"I'll just pay it in cash. I don't have time"

Hindi ko pinakinggan si Miss Stella at tinapos ang pagbasa ng malakas sa card number na nasa black card. "Just a second." sophie.

Shit.

Please.

"What are you doing!? I said---"

Ba't ang tagal?

"Why are you just staring in the computer? My G!"
