Chapter V : Risha

Rye POV,

Pagkabalik na pagkabalik ko sa hideout ay agad akong dumeritso sa opisina ng matandang yun. Dala-dala ko padin ang usb. Kung kanina wala naman talaga akong pake anong laman ng usb na'to ngunit ngayon gutom na gutom na akong malaman ang laman nito.

The moment I enter the office of the old man. I saw him with his fiancee talking but then they stopped after they saw me.

Lumapit ako sa table ng matanda at nilapag ang dalawang bagay na nakuha ko galing sa babae kanina. The I.D and the USB.

"It's time to explain everything. What are you planning to do?" deritsahan kong tanong. Kati na kati na akong malaman. I saw my face in the I.D but not my name. It says, Risha Gonzagon. After I became Rye, I will be someone else again? Ang rami ko na atang pangalan na dala-dala.

Kinuha naman 'yun ni Jessi. Lumapit siya sa projector at isinaksak ang usb. May biglang lumabas din na isang puting tela sa harapan --- which is sa likod ng matanda na nakaupo sa desk niya.

Wala akong imik na pinagmamasdan lamang ang puting tela na ngayon ay binabalutan ng mga larawan ni Mama. Tumayo si old man.

"Would you mind if I want you to sit down?"

Napairap tuloy ako at sinunod ang utos niya. Umupo ako sa couch kaharap niya.

"Katherine Villanzo, your mother. Dr. Greg Figueroa been died and your mother was the eyewitness because she's there when the killings happened."

"That was 5 months ago after your mother was been accused a gold digger, a thief and---"

"And?" pinutol ko ang sasabihin niya. I know all about that, hindi niya dapat ipamukha sa akin kasi bilang anak dapat rumespeto din siya. Pero hindi na bago sa akin 'yan. Wala nga pala silang pakialam sa nararamdaman ng isang tao. They just minding there own business. Kaya nga siguro hanggang ngayon hindi padin sila kasal.

"Arthur Alvañez, the Chairman of the company where your mother was currently working as an Entertainer. He---"

"Wait. What? Did you just say my mother was once an Entertainer like you?" napakunot ang kilay ko. Hindi ko alam. Ngunit dahil tinutulungan nila ako ibig talaga sabihin may koneksyon si mama sa kanila. They wanted to help us.

"Yes. Your mother was very vatican in this field. Marami na siyang naclose na mission worth billions and not peso. It's dollars." sabat naman ni Jessi

"Aside from being a secretary of Mr. Alvañez, she's also an Entertainer. Her mission was to know where the secret locker of Mr. Alvañez but something came up and it turns out that your mother witness something na hindi dapat."

"Dr. Figueroa been killed by Mr. Alvañez, and your mother was the eyewitness. Before Katherine will turn to be the witness in the first trial, hinanapan na nang solusyon ni Arthur para hindi matuloy ang pagpunta ni Katherine sa court."

"So, your mission was to destroy Mr. Alvañez image. Find evidence that will link to him of Dr. Figueroa. Clean your mother's name by using him. And, lastly you need to continue what's your mother mission. To find the secret locker." mataas na paliwanag ng matanda.

"How about the I.D?" I asked.

"You will be Risha Gonzagon. Hindi mo na kailangang mag apply as the new secretary kasi we already put your name in their list. So, just go there and make a move... Secretly."

Hindi ako nagsalita. Tinitigan ko lang ang lahat na larawan na nasa puting tela. I need to study this mission very well to be able to understand everything. So, that is the reason why my mother was been accused. Mom, you make your life miserable just to make money for us.

I'm going to rewrite the destiny. Gagawin ko lahat na matapos 'to nang madali para makita ko na ulit si Mama at mamuhay kami ng malayo sa gulong ito. Money really destroy everything.

"Okay. I'm going to complete this mission." I said without hesitation but with determination. "I can do this. I'm Rye, remember?"

I'm Katerina. I'm more than what Rye can do.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Wow, Katerina pala talaga true name ni Rye na magiging isang Risha na naman. Grabi talaga pasabog HAHA. Tbh, dapat sa exciting part ko na talaga isusulat true name ni Rye pero dahil andyan narin name ng mama niya then ilagay ko narin yung sa kaniya.
