If they venture out, from their hiding spot, it is generally at night when there is less activity. They usually will only start to look for food/water after about 2-3 days. The longer they are out the more confidence they gain. The demeanor of your cat will play a big role in how they act when they get out.

Lisa's POV
Jennie has been busy these past few weeks when her new boss arrived. Their team is currently working for a big project and the recruitment team where Jen is part of, will play a big role to make it successful.
I'm happy that she's getting along with her new boss. Every time I will pick her up, she's always in good mood and sharing that her boss taught her this or that. Her old boss doesn't mentor or coach her, she will just order and give instructions and the team will execute. Maybe that's the reason why Jen's enjoying with the current project. She's learning and sharing her expertise at the same time.
We might both busy but we make sure that we update and give time to each other whenever there's a chance. It's the same old routine, I will pick her up after shift, we will spend time together and every weekend either we stayed at home together or will go out to find to café or restaurant to try. We also visit nearby museum and beaches.
"Hey Lisa, are we ready for testing?" Olivia one of my team mates from London message me on WhatsApp. My team was just done designing, developing and coding the software that we will release soon.
"Still reviewing the codes, Olivia. I'm confident we can release this today for testing, will update you in an hour". I replied to her.
I've been spending sleepless nights to finish this software. There's a dark circle under my eyes that are visible. I'm just lucky that I'm pretty thus the eyebags is just nothing.
I went to the kitchen to prepare for my coffee. My head is aching figuring the code which I'm also the one who wrote. I massage my temple as I read Jennie's message to me.
They have the company team building for two days and one night.
"We just arrived; I wish you we're here". She said and sent me the picture of the resort where they will be staying.

Jennie's POV:
Our Employee Engagement Team set up an out-of-town activity for our team building.
It's been a month when our new boss which is Deb started. She's kind that most of the employees likes her. You'll never see her getting angry, she will always look to the positive side whenever we have a problem in the operation. I would admit, she's one of the best bosses that I work with and I really enjoy her company because I am learning a lot.
"Jennie!" Irene called me as she throw the keys to me
"That's our room keys, keep it." She said as she wrapped her arm around my shoulder as we go together to the function room. Other employees are starting to gather as well since our Employee Engagement Team Head will cascade information and instruction regarding the activity. I saw Deb smiled at me as we entered the room so I bow and smiled back as we find a vacant seat. There's no more available seat, Deb called us and pointed that there's still an available chair beside her. Irene and I got hesitant but we have no choice since the program were about to start. The announcement lasted for 15 minutes and the activities started
We had a lot of water activities the whole day (since it's a resort. duh) It's so tiring but we've enjoyed a lot
Irene and I are both currently in our room. We took a bath and change our clothes since we have another activity tonight.
"Jen, seems like Deb is getting comfortable to you, I saw how she drooled earlier when you remove your scarf and your upper abs has been exposed". Irene is laughing so hard while she's telling me this.
"Yah! Stop! If Lisa hears that, she's gonna break your neck, Irene". I told her while also laughing
"No, you mean Lisa will break Deb's neck hahaha". Irene replied
" Pali, they might be looking for us". I said to Irene and tap her arm while she's busy putting some lipstick
"You mean, Deb is looking for you?". Irene teased me again.
I decided to wear a jeans and white t-shirt putting a knitted jacket on it. Since the activity is near the beach shore, I assume it will be cold later.

We ate our dinner and the activity started.
Everyone started to party and drink so hard. I'm not used to it same with Irene so we decided to set near the shore. I removed my converse shoes and walk in bare foot. Irene did the same removing her white shoes. We sit while we are drinking. We decided to bring our drinks as well.
We had our girl talk while we are being relaxed by the sound of the waves. It's been an hour when we left the crowd and we run out of drinks.
"I'll just get some more". Irene told me; I just nod at her. However, it's been 15mins but she's not yet back and saw her talking to one of our employees Suho.
"Why are you alone" I was startled when there's someone who spoke behind me. I looked up and its Deb. "Mind if I sit here?" She spoke and pointing a vacant sand beside me while is like 1 foot away. I just smile and nod at her.
"So why are you alone here, Ms. Kim?" she asked again
"I was with Irene but she left to get some drinks". I politely answered
"Here" she offered me a cold drink.
"Thanks" I told her
"I'm happy to see your progress Ms. Kim, in just a short period of time". Deb said
" Thank you, Deb. It's because you're an excellent teacher. I've learned a lot from you". I answered smiling
