Chapter 30: Cat Playing

Play is the indoor cat's version of hunting. It's an expression of a host of hardwired feline behaviors. Cats who do not use their minds and bodies in natural ways become fat, bored, stressed, and may eventually show behavior problems

Lisa's POV

I did some overtime to kill time. Somi message me that she just needs to meet last client during dinner and she'd meet me afterwards. I messaged Aunt Dara and informed one of our hired babysitters to look after Ryli since I'll be coming home late or might be staying in my condo. I decided to stay in my office because if I'll be home early, I'll be lazy to go out again. It's been 2 weeks when I started working here. It went smooth, I don't talk to anyone unless it's work related. Most of the time, Chaeyoung is visiting me in my office. Jennie has been consistent in asking me to talk about us but I'm not yet ready to hear about it. We just talked if it's work related, I'm actually okay watching her from afar. This Kai is just irritating sometimes because he's like a dog who always follow Jennie wherever she goes. Yeah, I observe them. 

Deep inside, I wanted to talk to her, ask her how is she but I'm not yet ready, I'm not yet fully healed and I am afraid to have her back to my life again. It takes me years to build this wall and I'd like to maintain it. I've learnt to let go of what used to weight me down but it wasn't an easy process to begin with. It took moments in crying and getting lost on my own thoughts if it really needed to be set free from my shoulders and grasp, sleepless night overthinking and anxiety. I don't want to go back to that phase. No love, no hurting.

It was 9 PM and I'm on my way to elevator. It was about to close but thankfully I was able to catch up. When the elevator doors open, I catch the feline eyes that I'm always avoiding.

I slightly bow at her to greet and stayed quiet. She did the same.

The whole elevator ride is so cold. No one dares to talk.

"Ting"

The elevator finally reaches the ground floor which is the parking. I didn't manage to look at her because Somi called.

"Hey, yeah. Just got out from the office. I'll see you at my place? Buy me dinner. I haven't eaten yet". I told Somi while I'm walking towards my car.

I saw Jennie goes to another direction which she maybe parks as well.

I drove myself to my condo. I take a quick half bath I was drying myself when the doorbell rang, indicating that Somi is here. I opened the door and her lips welcomes mine.

"I miss you". She said and put her bag and the paper bags that I'm assuming the food that she bought

I kissed her back. I waste no time; it's been weeks for me with no sex at all and my body is craving for it. We both began fucking relentlessly in my sofa with a loud sounds and moans. Our bodies are moving in sync in a fast pace.

"Keep going, please". Somi begged

I keep on thrusting until she came once, twice and thrice.

After 3 or 4 rounds, I got tired and starving. I pulled from our kiss.

"Let's eat first before I will eat you?" I teased her

Somi dressed herself and I did the same. We sat in the sofa and opened the paper bags.

We ate the food that she bought.

"You will miss me for sure, Lis". Somi randomly shared while licking the chicken wings

"Wae". I answered

"I will be in Europe for 2 months; my client meeting earlier went well and will start working with their projects".
