"All done" Kai smiled and looked at me when he finally set up my laptop and work station.
"Thank you, you may leave".
"Call me anytime you need me". He smirked before closing my door.

I was sitting in my sofa in my office and currently on my iPad reviewing the operations performance for the past 3 months. Chaeyoung messaged me that she's finally here in Seoul. She's in the condo resting and we plan to have a dinner at her place.
I transferred to my swivel chair. My Executive Assistant just sent me the email regarding my schedule for the entire week. I just arrived and it feels like I'm already tired. For the past 4 years, I didn't do anything but to work and work. We do bar hopping in LA with Deb and Chaeyoung, usual flirting but nothing serious. I didn't entertain any suitors as well, but sometimes I know that Deb is giving me hints. She told me that she likes me more than friends and I always set her expectations that I can only see her as my best friend, a mentor. She said that she's willing to wait until I moved on.
What if I don't want to move on?
I've been busy reviewing the proposals and other documents and I didn't notice when the clock turns to 12. I heard a soft knock to my door, it's Irene.
"Jen, lunch? Let's try the Italian restaurant in the 4th street".
"Sure, give me 5 minutes to retouch. Come in and feel at home".
"Time flies so fast, how come that it's been four years already". Irene said as she's scanning the books scattered to the center table."
"How are you and Seulgi?" I randomly asked
"Well, we're on our 3rd year. I didn't know that I will end up dating that monkey". Irene chuckled
"Did she mention anything about Lisa?"
"Not that much. As far as I know they still communicate and last time I heard Lisa will be staying in Thailand for good".
"For good?"
"Yeah. But I'm not sure though. Do you want me to ask Lisa's number to Seulgi"?
"Do you think Seulgi will give it to you"?
"She will always give anything that I want". Irene chuckled
"No need, Irene. Lisa has decided and I don't want to bother her'.
"Do you still love her?". Irene asked
"I am hungry, let's go?"
We got an Italian for lunch. It's just a five blocks away from our new office.

"Waiter!" Irene got their attentions
"Can you give us one order of Caprese salad, Ravioli, Gnocchi and Spaghetti Alla Carbonara".
"And Tiramisu for our dessert". I added
"How about your drinks, Ma'am"?
"Lemon cucumber for two". Irene answered
"Just to repeat your order Ma'am, One order of Caprese salad, Ravioli, Gnocchi, Spaghetti Alla Carbonara, Tiramisu and 2 lemon cucumber".
"Perfect".
Irene and I had a catch up while we wait for our foods. It's such a good place to eat. good food, good mood.

3 PM
I'm just done with my meeting with one of our Japanese Bosses. He gave us a run through in terms of his plans in expanding his business. Deb is also in the meeting. He shared that one of the representatives from an IT Consultancy company that they meet a month ago will closely work with us in terms of automating our process and upgrading our systems and infrastructure. Everyone does this given that we are in the digital world.
"Come in" I shouted in a minimize voice when I heard a soft knock. It's Kai.
"Jen, coffee? You're working so hard on your first day". He spoke
"Mind if I sit"?
"I don't mind, first you already invited yourself". I told him as I stand up from my swivel chair and did some mini stretch before proceeding to my office living area, he's sitting to the long couch while I choose to sit in the single sofa.
"Thanks for the coffee". I told him before I sip it. "So how long have you been working here?"
"I'm hurt that you didn't take a glance to my profile". Kai responded. "It's my 3rd year here. You?".
"Turning 8 years". I smiled. I've met our bosses and they mentioned about getting an IT Consultant that will assist us, Isn't it your job?"
"IT field is big and I know the foundation but not software development, automation and upgrade are not my specialty. I only focus in the infrastructure, network, hardware, systems and server side. Someone with Solutions Architecture background can do that and our bosses did the right thing".
"Ow. Isn't it same thing, I guess you will work hand in hand with the consultants"? I replied to Kai
"Most likely". He answered. "Do you have any plans tonight? Want to grab some dinner with me?" He casually asked.
"I have something to do, need to be home before dinner. Maybe next time". I answered and stand up going back to my work station.
"I'm looking forward for that next time. I gotta go, see you around Ms. Kim".

It's turning 5 PM and I decided to get ready. I saw Irene also doing some retouch.
"You have a date?" I intrigue her
"Seulgi's downstair".
"Can I meet her? It's been a while the last time I saw her".
"Sure, let's go".
We walked together and my hands are clinging to Irene's arm. We saw Seulgi's waiting in the lobby.
"Jennie, I didn't know that you're back". Seulgi smiled at me
"It was nice seeing you, Seulgi. Yeah, just the other day". I answered
Seulgi's phone rang and she excused herself.
"Babe, just need to answer this". She asked permission to Irene like a kid.
"Hello. What?! Will see you. Did Jisoo know that you're here? Arassoo, arassoo".
"Who was it?" Irene asked
"A client who wants to meet me tomorrow afternoon. Let's go?".
"See you tomorrow, Jen".
I decided to go to the mall before going home. Chaeyoung requested for a Japanese food for our dinner. I also bought a wine and mini groceries for my stocks just in case I'll starve in the middle of the night.
I was walking towards the parking when I saw a familiar faces from afar.
