Some planning must go into the process of introducing a kitten to an older cat. Friendly, single adult cats can have trouble adjusting to living with a new kitten. Often times the older cats will appear sad, reclusive, hiss a lot, and sometimes even stop eating if it isn't adjusting well to the new member of the family. These behaviors are because cats do not like change, especially when it involves their established territory. Introducing a kitten to an adult cat can cause a lot of stress in your household, but there are some things you can do to help make the introduction go more smoothly.
Jennie's POV:
I took a cab going home. I wasn't able to join Chaeyoung visiting Deb since I bumped someone that I know earlier and we have a quick mini catch up before we both bid a good bye. I'm not sure if Lisa will still meet me tonight because of what happened earlier.
It's already 8 PM and I'm waiting for my dinner. I decided to get some from food delivery.
My doorbell rang and I got excited because I'm craving for this food.
"How much is my... Lisa?".
It was actually Lisa and not the delivery guy.
"Are you expecting someone except from me?"
"Yeah, I'm waiting for the food I ordered online". I told her and left her in the door, she went inside and close the door following me in the living room. She sat in the sofa next to me.
"Jennie, what you saw earlier...."
"It's okay Lisa. I don't have the right to know it or asked you. Remember our deal? No asking and meddling on our private life". I told her in a cold tone
She held my hand and caressed it. "Just trust me this time, okay?" Lisa said and I just nod.
I don't have an energy to argue with her. I don't want to ruin the night since I really missed her. Call me martyr but yeah.
Lisa gave me a hug which I did the same. She kissed my forehead and buried her face to my neck. I caressed her face. I felt that somethings going on with her but I can't figure out.
We stayed for that position for like 5 minutes. She hugged me tightly while her eyes are close.
"Lisa, I have to get the food. I think the delivery guy is here". I told her as I pulled from her hug
We ate the food that I ordered. It was a peaceful night. We spent it eating and watching a movie as if nothing happens.
It was already 10 PM when Lisa bids her goodbye. So that's the reason why shes always wanted to go home early. Maybe because of Ryli.
I walked her to the entrance
"I'll pick you up tomorrow?" Lisa asked me. It's the first time though.
"Hmm you sure? I can ride with Chaeyoung".
"I insist, I'll be here before 7 AM. Can we have the breakfast together? I know a café nearby that serves delicious breakfast".
"Okay, I'll see you then". I said smiling
Can I meet Ryli this weekend? I randomly asked. Lisa just smiled and nod.
She kissed me in my lips for a minute before leaving my place.
