Jennie's POV
"Ladies and gentlemen, Korean Airline welcomes you to Seoul, Korea. The local time is at 8:50 AM. For your safety and the safety of those around you, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened and keep the aisle(s) clear until we are parked at the gate."
I stretched my body and fixed my position when I heard the flight attendant's announcement. It's been an almost 12 hours flight and I don't know if I was able to sleep well. My body clock is still adjusting.
I waited until everyone has already left the plane, I'm one of the last who gets out. This is one of my personal pet peeves and a form of social routine that just won't seem to go away. Immediately when a plane lands and the seatbelt light turns off, several passengers stand up and clog the aisle. I understand their rush to exit the plane, especially after a long flight, but the plane doors won't even open for another ten minutes. Instead, everyone just stands in the middle of the plane, uncomfortably close to each other. I proceeded to retrieve my luggage. I doubled check if all of my belongings.
I'm happily walking in the airport; it's been 4 years and a lot has changes.
I saw my brother Hyunjin waving at me. I run towards him and gave him a hug.
"Unnie, I missed you!"
"Yahh! Why are you so tall now!".
"Why are you still so small?" my brother teased me.
Hyunjin help me to put my luggage to the car. I decided to bought a car the moment I heard the news that I will be assigned here in Seoul. Hyunjin drove it. My parents and Yeji are also here in Seoul. They're just here to welcome me but they will be travelling back to Busan in the next few days. I also bought a condo unit near our new office.
I didn't notice that my tears started to flow. I can say that all of the things that I am dreaming before, I have them now. I'm now experiencing it. Hard work really pays off. I remember, Lisa. These are our dreams. I hope she's also doing well and if ever that she's already in Seoul, I would do anything just to meet her, talked to her, get back to her. It's been 4 years and still I haven't move on? Because I chose to not to move on. Deep in my heart, it's still her that I wanted to be with. Les Brown, a well-renowned motivational speaker, once said, "Shoot for the moon. Even if a person misses, he will land among the stars". In reality, we have many dreams, but we may not achieve all our goals because of certain constraints. So, it is important to dream big so that even if we don't achieve our goal, we will fall somewhere near our goal
My parents embrace me the moment we arrived, same with my sister. I am so happy and grateful for this fam. My father has been recovered already and my mom is doing pretty well. Both of them are healthy. The small business that they are managing 4 years ago has grown a lot. Hyunjin is the one who's been managing it while Yeji started her career as an architect.
After a quick catch up, I decided to have a rest. We still have 2 days to bond.

Monday, 8 AM Seoul Korea
"Morning, Deb. Yeah, first day today. It's been a while and I am excited". I spoke with Deb while driving. I am on way now to office. Chaeyoung will arrived this afternoon. She also bought her own unit to the same building where I am staying.
"I already talked to our IT team to set up your laptop so you can access the files that you will be needing". Deb answered
"Arasso, I'll call you later Deb, I'm here. Will park now. Yeah, bye".
I doubled check the lock of my car and started to walk slowly as I am busy with my phone. I accidentally bumped into someone. "I'm sorry". I told him, he just smiled and our eyes lock for a second but I didn't bother to check on him. I noticed that the guy is walking as same direction as mine.
The employees greeted me as I entered the lobby. Some avoided me, and I felt like they're scared of me or intimated. I went to the elevator and pressed the floor where our office is. There are no other employees who's using the elevator, I thought it's not working because I saw most of them took the stair, aside from the guy that I bumped intp which is beside me and who's eyes are glued on me. I choose to ignore him. He didn't press his floor number.
It's been a minute when we finally arrived the 23rd floor. I decided to confront him.
"Hey are you following me?" I asked him with a furrowed eyebrow.
"Yes and no" he answered and I gave him a death glare
"Yes, I am following you because I wasn't able to get your name and No because I also worked here".
"You worked here?"
The two of us got interrupted when Irene immediately run to me and hugged me.
"I miss you, Jen. Woah! Are you sure you're really, Jennie?"
"Stop teasing me, I miss you too, Unnie". I hugged her back
The guy scoffed. Yeah, he didn't move and watched the two of us catch up.
Irene noticed him. "Good morning, Sir". She greeted
The guy extended her hand to me for a hand shake.
"Hi I'm Kai, your IT Manager. You must be our new Operations Director? Miss Jennie Ruby Jane Kim?".
