Love again (Norenmin)

"Jaemin wake up. Ugh, your like a log today." Renjun mumbles, wishing he would go so Jeno would quit knocking.
"That's it I'm coming in." He hears, and giggles when Jeno barges in and crawls on their bed. His giggles get more intense as he watches Jeno get closer. He stops part way up and straddles his legs and looks at Renjun.
"He was always so difficult to wake before school." He chuckles and proceeds to jab his sides. Renjun watches with love in his eyes, this is such a special moment for them. He feels like the awkwardness is starting to fade and that's huge. Jaemin of course flips around and eventually sits up too fast and hits Jeno's nose. He falls back and holds his face while Jaemin apologizes profusely. Renjun gets to his knees, the blankets fall away revealing his thin, beautiful legs, the fact that he's only in boxers under his t shirt are proving to be hard for Jeno. Renjun notices him start to squirm and laughs.
"Jen, we literally used to shower together. You have already seen all of me." This does nothing by the way of comfort.
"Th-that was different. You guys are a couple, I shouldn't even be in here." He starts to try to get up but Renjun stops him and pulls him to sit.
"Don't move. Put your head back while I get a washcloth you are starting to bleed. He runs off to the bathroom to get one and hurried back. Jeno takes it appreciatively and the stuff from before is seemingly forgotten after Renjun puts on some shorts. Jaemin hugs him from behind, making him jump.
"I'm sorry I hurt you Nono." He says cutely making the other two coo.
"It's ok Nana, if you hurry and get dressed I will forget all about it." Jeno says with a smile.
"Yes sir." He jumps out of bed and runs to his closet so Jeno makes a quick exit remembering how Jaemin has no shame and will change anywhere, in front of anyone and he can't handle that right now.
When Jaemin emerges finally, Jeno hands him a roll that he had went and bought this morning at the cafe on the corner. He set one out for Renjun to have with his tea as well.
"Wait, I need coffee." Jaemin says in an almost panic. Jeno shakes his head and rolls his eyes fondly.
"If you hurry up and get on that bike we will stop and have coffee along the way." Normally Jaemin would not accept waiting that long but it means a coffee date with Jeno so he will take it.
They head out and only make it a few blocks before Jaemin whines his way into a coffee shop. Jeno really doesn't mind, he thinks it's cute. They get their order and sit at a table outside.
"It's so nice today." Jeno says before he takes a sip.  Jaemin smiles softly as he watches Jeno's face radiate in the sun.
"It is, so pretty." He says with a soft smile.
"How is work? Do you still like your chosen path?" Jaemin asks, Jeno just shrugs.
"Yeah, I guess. Sometimes the kids get to be too much but Ive grown to love them and can't wait to see how they change over the summer." Jaemin smiles.
"You have the patience of a saint, my mom is so proud that you became a teacher, she always hoped I would, but I get annoyed too easy." Jeno chuckles.
"We should go visit her some time. I haven't seen her in so long." Jaemin nods and smiles widely.
"I'm holding you to that. In fact I'll text her now and let her know. She misses you." He says with a small pout. He quickly pulls out his phone and texts her before taking a sweet picture of Jeno and uploading it with the caption, coffee date with Nono. He shows it to him and he only smiles with a small blush.
"What about you? Is everything still good?" Jeno asks.
"It's ok. Things are a bit slow right now but it will pick up soon I'm sure. I have big wedding next weekend. I thought I was too good, too artistic to be a wedding photographer, you know? But then I did the first one and saw that I can bring beauty to someone's special day, I have a big role in the way someone remembers that day. So to some it may seem stupid but I love it." Jeno smiles proudly.
"That's good Jaem, it's good you have passion and I have no doubt that you do amazing work." Jaemin smiles softly.
"You can look at my collection online. If you do, let me know what you think. I'd like your opinion." Jeno smiles and nods before slurping the last of his coffee.
"Time to go." He says, standing. Jaemin nods and grabs their cups to take to the garbage.
After a grueling 3 mile ride up hill they make it to a place to buy some snacks and stop for a little rest.
"Oh my god that was so hard." Jaemin says still catching his breath. Jeno laughs showing his crescent eyes, making it even harder for him to breath.
"Yes, but the whole way back is down hill."
They eat a small snack and get ready to head home when Jaemin grabs Jeno's arm.
"Hey, I know us living with you is probably not an ideal situation for you but thank you. And I'm so happy we get to reconnect. We missed you so much." Jeno nods with a smile.
"I missed you too and I'm glad you got away from that creep." He says as he fastens his helmet and hops on his bike. They ride back mostly enjoying the atmosphere but add occasional small talk. When they walk in the apartment they see the cutest thing. Renjun is sleeping on the couch with his book in his lap. Jaemin coos quietly to Jeno who just smiles. He walks into his room, giving Jeno a chance to look at the beauty lying peacefully on the couch. He walks up and carefully takes the book out of his hand and covers him with a small blanket. He stops only a moment to admire his soft beautiful features.
When Jaemin gets out of the shower he sees Renjun sitting up and sits by him before kissing him sweetly.
"Thank you for the blanket." Renjun says still kind of sleepy. After a couple of seconds Jaemin's face goes from confused to soft.
"It wasn't me." Renjun's eyebrows raise in surprise before he smiles.
"Oh, how was your ride?" He asks while still thinking of the small but meaningful gesture from Jeno.
"Really tiring but really fun. I missed this, you know? Just being together, the three of us." Renjun nods.
"I saw the picture you uploaded to Instagram. It was cute." Jaemin nods happily and takes Renjun's hand and laces their fingers, then lays his head on his shoulder.
"I'm tired." Renjun smiles.
"Go nap, I'll make lunch." Jaemin agrees quickly and goes to his bed. Renjun hums while he looks around the kitchen for ingredients.
When Jeno walks in, seeing him cooking he has to stop for a second. Every time he catches one of them in here like this it makes him feel a certain way and his heart starts to flutter, so he has to Will away these feelings. Renjun giggles when he sees him standing there in a daze.
"You look tired, you should go take a nap too. I'll wake you for lunch." He blinks as if in thought then he nods in agreement.
"Yeah, I guess I am." Renjun giggles again.
"Thank you for the blanket earlier." He says softly. Jeno smiles awkwardly.
"Oh, well it was a little drafty with the air conditioning on and I thought maybe you would be more comfortable." Renjun is full on laughing his ass off now making Jeno frown, he crosses his arms and waits for him to get done. When Renjun sees his stance, he calms himself.
"Sorry, but you don't have to explain everything away. You don have to have a detailed reason why you do things." He stops talking and quickly walks up and hugs a very surprised Jeno around his middle. He carefully hugs back.
"Do you need a reason why?" He looks at Jeno who honestly is flustered and still looks confused.
"I just want to hug you. That's it, the only reason and for future reference, unless I'm upset? Consider any hug you get from me or even Jaemin a just because we want to hug you, hug." He smiles cutely up at Jeno who has to hold himself back from kissing his soft pretty lips. This is too close for too long but he's afraid to pull away.
"Did you enjoy your ride today?" He asks just now letting go. Jeno feels relief and loss at the same time.
"It was really fun, I-I uh, missed doing things with you guys so yeah it was good." Renjun smiles.
"Me too, go rest now." Jeno nods and leaves obediently.
For Jeno, his insides are a little topsy turvy from the whole day but Renjun has him even more flustered.
For Renjun, he feels like each new moment is a gateway back to where they were. He knows it would never be exactly the same but this is a good step.
