Love again (Norenmin)

After the first couple of days Jeno came home from work with all the snack foods that he could remember that Renjun likes. Renjun greatly appreciates all of their kindness but he still feels that he needs to work hard at finding a new job. He's actually applied at a few but no call backs yet.

It's now been almost three weeks and he's cleaned every inch of the apartment a few times. Jaemin has come home to help him put all the furniture back after he rearranges it only to find it doesn't work, twice. Today when Jeno walks in with Jaemin they are attacked with hugs and kisses, not that they mind a bit.
"Why so happy baby?" Jaemin asks.
"I got a job!" He dances around and they join him in his excitement.
"Where? I'm assuming a better music company than the last?" Jeno asks excitedly.
"It's at the convenience store down the street." He says awkwardly. Both Jeno and Jaemin try to hide their disbelief but it shows.
"Don't think I didn't try those places, I just had a hard time getting into the first. There are so many qualified applicants and so few jobs to go around." He says sadly and of course they feel awful for questioning it.
"Hey, you did great and I'll shop there everyday just so I can see your pretty smile." Jaemin says and Jeno quickly agrees with a nod. Renjun forces a smile and accepts their hugs.
His first shift happens to be in the evening and he hates it so much. He's halfway through when the door opens and his boyfriends walk in with flowers and his favorite tea. His heart melts.
"You guys, you are so sweet." He says as they give him his things along with a quick peck on the cheek from each of them.
"Thank you, I missed you guys already." He pouts.
"We miss you too baby, I hope you don't have to work nights all the time?" He shakes his head no.
"It's a rotating shift, I have to do this for a week then the next I will work during the day." They all really hate this already.

"Hey guys, I'm home." He says softly as they are sitting on the couch waiting up for him.
"You guys don't have to wait up you know." He says softly.
"We won't get to see you otherwise." Jeno says. Renjun smiles stiffly and kisses them both on the heads.
"I love you, thank you for supporting me, especially when I don't even know what the fuck I'm doing." He says sadly as he sits on the coffee table. The two quickly sit up and pay full attention.
"If you hate this job, leave it. Be our house wife until you land the job of your dreams. We want you happy." Jeno says softly. He nods and wipes a few more tears.
"I'm going to give it a few weeks then if I still hate it I'll quit." He kisses them both and goes to shower while they get ready for bed.

They endure this day after day for a week and by midway through his second week he's already decided he's going to leave at the end of the week. He has already informed his boss so it's a done deal.
This particular day at work he's feeling anxious and wants to go home. When he sees the guy he recognizes as Mark walk in he fidgets and tries to avoid eye contact.
"Renjun is it? What are you doing here? Don't you work at SM?" He looks away awkwardly.
"Can I help you with anything sir?" He asks letting him know he isn't talking.
"Ok fine." He sets his stuff on the counter and pays quickly but leaves reluctantly. This makes Renjun really uncomfortable so he decides to leave at the end of his shift and not come back.

When he comes home this evening it's dark except for a few candles and there are rose petals everywhere, he follows the trail and finds Jaemin and Jeno sitting on their bed kissing. He freezes, thinking maybe they were having a thing, they may have forgotten he got off at this time? All these questions are going through his mind and he doesn't even see that they've stopped and are staring expectantly.
"Oh shit, I'm sorry. I don't mean to interrupt, I'll just." He backs away and they just giggle.
"Baby, come here. This is all for you." He looks at them questioning.
"We wanted you to relax, you've been working so hard and we wanted to treat you special. We were just kissing but this is all for you. You would have kissed him too if you were sitting in the dark with him." Jaemin says with a shrug making Jeno giggle.
Renjun walks fully into their room and sees how beautiful it is set up. They have candles and flowers everywhere and a gift box at the end of the bed with his name on it.
"Open it, we picked it out together just for you." He smiles with a small frown.
"But what's the occasion?" Jaemin chuckles.
"We love you, we don't need one." He says with a shrug.
He shyly opens it and sees a beautiful silk pajama set and a fluffy robe. Next to it is a set of bath bombs and bubbles.
"I already ran you a bath, it should be just perfect now." Jeno says to a still stunned Renjun.
"This is beautiful, you guys. You didn't have to." He says with a few tears. They both stand and shower him with kisses and hugs.
"Go take a bath. We will get everything else ready. He softly smiles and takes his pajamas and robe to the tub. He slowly undresses and steps into the hot bath. He can already feel all his stress melt away. He closes his eyes and lays his head back and relaxes.
After twenty minutes or so Jaemin and Jeno return with some wine and glasses and gently kiss him awake.
"Mm, this is so nice." He says sleepily.
"You deserve it baby." Jaemin says softly, only then does he notice they are wearing silk pajamas too.
"Who? When did?" He asks, not expecting them to even understand.
"We were planning this since last week and we went today since Jeno only had a half day today and bought us all couple pajamas. Only because we love you." Jaemin says with a big smile.
"Oh my god you guys are the best." Jaemin chuckles knowing Renjun is very into couple items. They each share a small glass of wine before Renjun decides he should get out now, at this point it's almost been an hour. When he does step out he is very surprised to have them each help in toweling him off and then they both apply lotion to his body before helping him dress. He giggles at their cuteness and soaks up the attention. When done they cuddle onto the couch where they feed him dinner.
Jaemin chuckles after a bit getting their attention.
"Remember when you bought Jeno that couple item with us?" Renjun's cheeks instantly heat up and he buries his face in Jeno's armpit. Jeno chuckles and looks at Jaemin full of questions, he just laughs and pokes Renjun's side.
"It was right after we talked about our feelings for you. Before you distanced yourself completely." Jaemin says with a sadness in his tone that everyone heard.
"He bought you a white hoody for your birthday?" Jaemin kind of asks. Jeno nods with a small smile.
"I still have it." He says surprising both of them to the point he gets a bit defensive.
"Why wouldn't I? I've saved everything I've ever gotten from you both." He says softly earning a sweet kiss on the cheek from Renjun.
"Anyway after he gave it to you and we were home, he showed me our matching ones. They weren't an exact match because they didn't have his size in yours so he bought us all white with different designs.
"I said even if we don't have him, it's like he has a piece of us." Renjun says softly. He bravely looks up at Jeno who is fighting tears and biting his quivering lip hard. Renjun takes his hand and kisses it.
"And now we all have each other." He says softly making Jeno feel a little better.
"I'm sorry, for the distance, I just..." Jaemin shushes him.
"We understand, you did nothing wrong." He says softly before he leans over and kisses his lips.
They finish this night off talking sweetly about their memories as a trio, before their worlds got turned upside down. For Renjun it's the perfect end to the perfect evening.
