Both Renjun and Jeno took time to shower and change before Taeyong got there so both are feeling refreshed. When the doorbell rings Jeno offers to get it while Renjun gets the wine and glasses to the table.
"Hey." Jeno says as Taeyong looks around.
"Hi, thanks for having me." He says offering another bottle of wine.
"Oh thank you." He walks to the dining room and taps Renjun on the shoulder and smiles cutely when he turns.
"I'd like you to meet one of my friends from work, this is Taeyong." He says gesturing to him. Renjun can't take his eyes off his face.
"Wow, uh yeah I'm Renjun." Jeno gives him a look that snaps him out of his stupor. Taeyong just giggles.
"Sorry, you look like an anime character. You are so pretty." He says softly making the other two laugh.
"It's nice to meet you, isn't there another one around here too?" He asks looking around again.
"He should be here soon, he's a photographer and he's been shooting a wedding all day." Taeyong smiles.
"Good, I'd love to meet him too. So Renjun, what do you do for a living?" He asks making Renjun look away nervously.
"Well, I studied music in school and I work in a company called SM. My goal is to write and produce for artists but right now I'm the errand boy, and honestly I often wonder why I'm still there. I know this is how you get your foot in the door and it's only been like nine months but it's hard to endure some days." Jeno touches his hand and Taeyong is quick to notice this intimate gesture but he does know they've been friends for years.
"You have to start somewhere. I hear it's a hard business to be in. I hope one day I'll hear one of your songs." Renjun smiles.
"Me too." He says hopefully.
"So what grade do you teach?" He asks genuinely interested.
"I teach second, and I'm excited to get Jeno's students this year. I know they will all be so smart." Jeno chuckles.
"What's with all the flattery?" Now Taeyong laughs.
It quiets down only for a minute when Renjun gets a text.
"Oh, Jaemin just texted, he's in the garage and needs help with his equipment." Renjun says starting to stand.
"You stay, I'd like to help him." Jeno says with a smile. Renjun nods and sits back down to visit with the older.

When Jeno gets there he sees him pulling stuff from the trunk, he sneaks up and says boo making Jaemin jump out of his skin.
"You scared me." He looks up then looks away from his eyes.
"Where's Renjun?" Jeno tilts his head.
"He's visiting with our guest, is my help not wanted?" He asks as he playfully starts to walk away.
"What? No, i mean yes it is." Jeno chuckles and walks back. He takes a majority of the things.
"I Can carry more." He says softly.
"Nonsense, you've been carrying it around all day, you must be tired." Jaemin smiles.
"Yeah I am." He says following behind the other. It's quiet for most of the ride up the elevator so when they step out into the hallway Jeno stops before they get to their door. He sets everything down and takes the things from Jaemin.
"What?" He starts to ask when Jeno stares him down and he looks to the floor.
"Can you look me in the eye?" He asks softly. Jaemin shakes his head no as he starts to cry.
"Everything is my fault, all of this shit happened because of me. If I wouldn't have..." Jeno shakes his head and chuckles.
"What? If you wouldn't have been in love with Renjun? Look, all of us are hurting for various reasons but I think now we should try to work together to get through it. If it's going to be this way I can't be here." Jaemin finally looks in his eyes, his own reflecting the fear of what he just said.
"This is already hard for me but he feels guilty because of me and you feel guilty because of me and I can't get in your way and I certainly don't want your love out of pity or obligation." He pinches the bridge of his nose then looks in his eyes again.
"I love you. I love you so much it hurts and I love him but I can't, I won't be in your way." He starts move away to pick up Jaemin's things but is stopped.
"I love you Jen, I love you. I'm just sorry." Jeno pulls him into his arms.
"It's ok to be a little sorry, but don't be so sorry that you can't accept my love or that you end up hurting someone else who loves you. Don't regret the past, just love me now." Jaemin nods with more rapid fire tears.
"I do, I do love you." He whispers. Jeno smiles and cups his cheeks.
"And I love you." He says before smashing their lips together. Jaemin kisses back immediately and both are feeling a warmth in their bellies as they hold on tighter. When they finally stop Jeno presses his forehead to his.
"We should go in now." He says holding eye contact. Jaemin nods with a smile. He hugs him once more and they pick up his things and head in. They take the things to his room and head to the dining room.
"Hi, I'm Jaemin, nice to meet you." He says holding his hand out. Taeyong eyes them suspiciously.
"Nice to meet you, but why do you both look like you were out in the hallway making out?" He asks with a suspicious smile.
"Because we were." Jaemin says with a confident smile. Jeno's eyes sparkle as he looks at him and sees complete eye contact. Renjun notices the exchange too and feels relief and pride.
"I guess you told him?" Jeno asks and sees a shy smile on Renjun's face.
"Cute." He whispers. Renjun stands and looks over at Jaemin and holds his arms open.
"Excuse me." Jaemin says before walking up to hug him and kiss him on the lips.
"Hi, I missed you." He says softly. Renjun smiles. I missed you, now sit. I will get the food." He starts to walk away before Jeno hollers.
"Wait, I'll help. I did help cook after all." He follows after him and spins him around and kisses him.
"You're happy." Renjun says with a smile.
"We talked, I think things will be better now." Renjun kisses his cheek.
"Good, you grab the garlic bread and salad and I'll take the lasagna." Jeno smiles and does what he's told.
After everyone is served it is silent as the first few bites are taken.
"Damn where did you learn to cook like this?" Taeyong asks stuffing his face. Renjun giggles.
"I've just watched a lot of cooking shows and practiced mostly on Jaemin but even Jeno has eaten a few of my experiments." Taeyong nods with a smile.
"You can experiment on me anytime." He offers, making the others laugh.
The dinner goes on like this, making small talk, giving Taeyong much needed friendship.
"I can't thank you guys enough. This was so nice and I'm glad I got to be the first one who knows your little secret." Jeno chuckles.
"It's not a secret, it's just new and we haven't defined anything. You can come back anytime Tae, even if you just need to talk ok?" He nods and tries to hold back from crying.
"He called me yesterday, I ignored it. I haven't decided what to do yet. I want to take back my life and for once have the decision in my hands. I'm always the one being left and always the one waiting to see if he will come back and I think I'm done." He says trying to sound brave.
"I'm here for you, wether you feel strong or vulnerable or just want to talk shit." Taeyong giggles.
"Thank you, you are a good man. All the good ones are taken." He says with an exaggerated sigh as he looks at Jaemin and Renjun.
"But seriously, this was nice. Thank you." They hug goodbye and Renjun gets a big squishy hug from Jeno.
"Thank you for cooking and being amazing and being here. He really needed it. He kisses his cheek then turns to Jaemin. He wraps his arms around him too.
"Thank you for getting here in time today, I really appreciate that and for being amazing too." He kisses his cheek and backs away.
"You guys go on to bed, you must be tired. I'll get this mess cleaned up." He starts to clear their plates and Jaemin walks up and kisses Renjun good night.
"I'll help, you go to bed." Renjun frowns.
"But you were working all day?" Jaemin smiles softly and touches his cheek.
"I just want to spend a little time with him, I think we have more to talk about, if it's ok?" Renjun smiles and nods before letting a yawn slip. Jeno walks back in to get more dishes and Renjun clings like a koala.
"Good night." He says with a kiss to his neck. Jeno has to hold back the groan that wants to come out.
"Good night." He whispers and kisses his lips softly. When Renjun walks out Jaemin sighs.
"I always new it would be hot but, fuck. Watching you
And him kissing is really fucking sexy." Jeno almost drops the dishes he was holding. He wasn't expecting that at all. Jaemin laughs and helps take some things to the kitchen. They work together beautifully and get it done quick. They talk a lot, about some past things and some current. They missed this too, just being together without the weight on them is enough to ease the tension. Jeno walks him to his bedroom door.
"Good night Jaemin." He says before softly kissing him.
"Good night.
