"Jaem, wake up." He opens his eyes reluctantly.
"Why? It's so early." Renjun excitedly bounces on the bed making him giggle.
"Because it is our first official date day with Jeno and I want to start it off by cuddling him." This gets Jaemin a little more awake.
"Ok." Renjun laughs at his willingness and they sneak across the apartment to get to his room. They quietly open the door and see him laying peacefully on his back in the middle of the bed. It couldn't be anymore perfect. They each take a side and cuddle up to him. He sighs happily in his half asleep state.
"I don't know if you remember what happened the last time you cuddled with me like this." He says in a deep sexy morning voice.
"If you keep talking with that sexy voice it's going to happen sooner." He pops one eye open to see then both hungrily staring at him.
"Calm down, go back to sleep." He says trying to convince himself too. They both giggle and relax into his sides and fall asleep quickly. It's so comfortable and so natural.

After a couple hours Jeno wakes first from their morning nap. He smiles to himself, he never thought he would get the privilege of waking up this way. He sneaks out of bed and starts the coffee and some scrambled eggs with bacon. He doesn't cook much but he knows the basics.
"It smells so good in here." Jaemin says as he walks up behind him and hugs him. Jeno relaxes into it.
"I could really get used to this." Jeno says softly.
"You better." He says before kissing the back of his neck then going to get a cup of coffee.
"I didn't wake you did I?" Jaemin shakes his head no.
"It was the smell of coffee." Jeno laughs.
"Your cute." He says softly. Jaemin walks over with a cute smile and puckers his lips. Jeno doesn't hesitate to kiss him.
"I'll go wake Renjun, then we can get ready for later." Jeno nods with a smile.
When Renjun walks out with a cute sleepy yawn he coo's.
"Oh my god you look like a kittten." He says as he walks up and wraps him in his big arms. He kisses both cheeks earning a giggle.
"Why a kitten? I'm more like a vicious wild cat." He says yawning again. Jeno giggles and has to turn away.
"No, stop you are too cute." He says as Jaemin walks in and slaps Renjun's butt.
"Sorry Junie, he's right. You are the epitome of cute and no matter how hard you try we will always think that." He looks up at them, Jeno nods along exaggeratedly to everything the other is saying.
"You guys are hopeless." He says with a pout.
"Hopelessly in love with a cutie." Jaemin says before attacking him with kisses. Jeno laughs, he really enjoys getting to be a part of this. He stares lovingly at the two and watches as Renjun finally pushes Jaemin off him and looks up with his sparkly, laughing eyes. Jaemin turns in his direction too, he's mesmerized.
"You are both so beautiful." He says softly as he sets the food on the table. He goes up and leaves long slow kisses on each of their lips, rendering them speechless for a moment.
"Eat, then we have to make a lunch and get all of our supplies." Jeno says, giggling when neither can speak.

In Renjun's eyes this part, the making of food and packing supplies is just as much part of the date. They are working together nicely and only stopping for a quick hug or kiss here or there. Once they get it ready they head out. Jeno is carrying their water bottles in his pack since they are the heaviest and he insisted. Jaemin has the food and utensils and Renjun has the first aid kit and a blanket to sit on.
The hiking trail is long and goes up hill for at least a mile before it plateaus a little bit to where the picnic grounds are. Jaemin goes first on the trail and Jeno makes sure Renjun is in the middle. He wants to be last in case someone falls, he wants to make sure they are both protected. This is nothing new, he's always had a strong urge to protect them both. It's not too steep and it's actually a nice trail but he still won't take chances.

After a few hours with a few stops to rest along the way, they made it safely to their destination.
"Uh, I'm exhausted and my calf's are cramping up." Renjun whines as he lays the blanket out. When he sits down Jeno goes to him and takes his shoes off.
"What are you doing I'm so sweaty, I'm sure I'm smelly too." He says with another pout.
"It's ok, just relax." He has him lay back as he is on his knees. He lifts his leg carefully and starts to massage the sore muscles.
"Oh, yes, thank you. That is amazing." Jaemin is setting up the food and leans over to kiss his lips.
"Don't moan too loud baby, who knows what the other hikers will think." Renjun giggles and slaps his arm, Jeno also gets a little chuckle out of it. He helps him to stretch it out some and switches and does the same to the other. Renjun sits up and kisses him on the lips.
"Thank you. I think I can walk again." Jeno smiles and ruffles his hair.
They eat a nice lunch and rest for another half hour before deciding to head back down. This time Jeno goes first with Jaemin at the back. Both Renjun and Jaemin think it's cute and incredibly endearing how protective he is. The more they think about it they remember this was his behavior always. Renjun is in a bit of a daze thinking about how Jeno has always genuinely loved and cared for them. It makes him a little sad so he starts to wipe at his eyes therefore blurring his vision which is how he ends up tripping and landing right into Jeno's arms. As they all breath a sigh of relief Jeno notices his tears.
"Are you hurt?" He shakes his head no.
"I'm ok, thank you. I was just thinking and I cried and I couldn't see." Jeno and Jaemin both frown.
"Why were you crying?" He shakes his head no.
"It's nothing, I'm just happy, so so happy to be here with you and I got emotional." Jeno looks at Jaemin who shrugs.
"Ok, just hold on to my waist the rest of the time." He tries to argue but Jeno won't have it.
"Please? I would feel really bad if you got hurt in any way on a date that I planned." He give him his best puppy eyes which melt him to the core so he wraps his arms around his waist and squeezes.
"I love you." He says softly.
"I love you, now hold on." Renjun smiles and puts his hands on Jeno's sides then looks back at Jaemin.
"You better hold on to me Jaem, just in case." He smiles and gently holds his waist.
By the time they get to the bottom they are all just holding hands, it was more difficult than they thought it would be to walk the other way and Renjun proved he was steady on his feet again.
When they get home they are all exhausted.
"We should order out tonight." Jeno says, the other's quickly agree.
"I'm going to shower, you guys go ahead too, then we'll order. They both nod and head off together.
"Why were you really crying Junie? And why did you lie to him?" He stops and turns.
"I didn't really lie. I was so happy to be there, it was an amazing date. I just started feeling sad about leaving him behind. I know he says we don't need his forgiveness because we didn't do anything wrong but I think I will feel guilty until he says he forgives us." Jaemin nods in agreement.
"I know what you mean." He sighs and hugs him.
"You shower first then go talk to him, he deserves your honesty." Renjun nods and quickly heads to the bathroom to shower.

When he gets out he slows down. He's nervous, he doesn't want to hurt Jeno in any way. He sees him sitting on the couch and walks up and straddles his lap.
"Woah, what's gotten in to you?" He asks as he rubs his back. Renjun sighs.
"I need you to forgive me." He says making Jeno frown.
"What did you do?" Renjun looks him in the eyes.
"Left you behind." Now Jeno sighs.
"Before you say anything just listen. I love you and I sometimes feel bad about things from the past and I think that I'll be able to move on from that if you tell me you forgive me." Jeno purses his lips. He thinks it over while Renjun nervously plays with his hair.
"Ok, I forgive you. No questions asked, I forgive you and that's that. But, if you do ever feel a little sad it's ok. Sometimes I do to, sometimes Jaemin does too and it's ok. Is this why you cried today?" Renjun nods.
"What made you sad? Was the date that bad?" Renjun gasps.
"Absolutely not, it was amazing, really. I was so touched by how you take care of us and protect us like that's what you were put on earth to do. Then I started to think about all the times you've done it before, even after we started dating and I got sad." He pouts his bottom lips so Jeno kisses it. Renjun smiles and kisses his nose.
"Also, I want to move out of Jaemin's bedroom." The shock on Jeno's face was nothing compared to the quiet, hurt sounding "what?" That came from Jaemin.
