Pairs: Marc Spector x Fem!Reader, Steven Grant x Fem!Reader, Jake Lockley x Fem!Reader

Summary: Even with your emotions still out of control, you find yourself feeling particularly lonely.

Warnings: Mentions of blood, death, angst? Trauma, dealing with trauma and descriptions of panic attacks (based on my experience with panic attacks), mentions of passed possible suicidal thoughts but nothing detailed, POV switches all over the place because I think it helps tell the story. Sexual references but no smut. Not an accurate representation of DID, basing it off the show's depiction.

Notes: Female reader, as per Anon's request, Spider-Woman!Reader. As per warnings, POV switches all over the place. Hopefully, they aren't too confusing. I don't speak Spanish, so if I got some of the translations wrong, let me know and I will fix them, but I tried to check them through multiple sources so fingers crossed. Things shown like this 'Words. Word word.' are meant to be the boys talking to each other internally.

Dr. Strange had completely laid you out once again, "So why don't you try to connect with them? Jake is following you around, anyway." You growl and jump back up to your feet, "Because that's not MY Jake... They have their own lives." You spin and try to kick Strange in the chest. He uses his magic and pushes you away, "And? They are alive here. Isn't that enough? You could at least try." You grumble and slide across the floor, "Why don't you talk to Christine, then?" Strange glares at you, floating above you. You had pissed him off. You quickly summoned a magic shield, flickering and barely managing to stay there. Dr. Strange blasts you with fire, "Because I had my chance and now she is with someone else." Your shield barely blocks the flames from your body. You can already feel some burns forming. Strange backs his fire down, "But for you. You don't even know if they are seeing anyone." You stand up and jump up, grabbing Strange with an eldritch whip, "I would be inferring with their lives... These versions of them aren't mine."

You tighten the whip and yank Strange across the room. He thuds into a wall and then summons energy into his palms and throws them at you, "Jake keeps leaving gifts at the door. What more do you need as a sign to just talk to him?" You used your magic shield to deflect each blast, ignoring the question. Strange notices this and starts shooting stronger blasts at you, "Just. Go. Talk. To. Him." Each word is punctuated with a blast until you are pushed against the wall with your flickering shield failing. Strange lifts another blast ready to strike you. You hunch behind the shield, "FINE." You yell loudly, more annoyed than anything else. Dr. Strange makes the energy disappear, and he floats back down to the ground. You brush yourself off, scorch marks clear on your clothes, "I'll talk to him, Jesus." Strange nods, "Good. I grow weary of him looming at our front step." You roll your eyes still messing with your burnt clothes, "Did you know sometimes you talk like you're a billion years old?" Strange ignores you and leaves the room.

You go change your clothes, putting some ointment on your burns even though they will heal in a few days. You walk into the foyer and peek out the window. Sure enough, Jake was there, sitting on the hood of his limo, waiting. Even your Jake was an odd combination of the world's most impatient and patient man. This Jake seems no different. Willing to wait outside for most of the day just to see if you would leave and if you did, then he would follow you around, at a respectable distance. You took a deep breath and walked outside.
