"Wake up!" A tender voice full of love and caring hit your ears. They sounded worried, and you opened your eyes to peer at them through bleary eyes.

It was your mother, Qadesh, and she was shaking you awake. Her eyes quickly noticed the bruises on your skin, and the deep markings of teeth along your neck and shoulders. On closer inspection, she saw that your arms and legs had massive handprints all over.

"What happened to you?" She asked in a hushed whisper while tracing a particularly large greenish mark at the juncture of your neck and shoulder.

"What? Nothing. I fell asleep out here." You replied quietly, trying to avoid answering her. You tugged the cloak over yourself, trying to hide the other marks on your torso and abdomen.

"You haven't slept since you were a young child." She pointed out, and her hands fell to her sides. She was right. Being a Goddess meant that sleep was barely ever utilized in the way the mortals did. They had to sleep every day in order to function properly, while celestials like yourself only slept like that when they were infants, or when they used too much of their power.

"I'm drunk, then. Needed to rest."

"I hardly think getting drunk and falling asleep out here can cause... Well, this..." She said as she pointed to your neck and your arms.

"Oh, um... It's nothing."

"Like fuck it's nothing! You've been deflowered! Defiled!" She hissed as you rolled your eyes.

"I wasn't defiled against my will, if that is your concern, mother." You remarked as you turned away to look up at the moon. You wished you weren't here right now, and that Khonshu had kept you there for longer, or at least until you woke up so you could talk to him about what had happened.

"Who did this to you?" She asked, her eyes going to look at the way you stared at the moon. A heavy feeling of dread began to well up inside of her.

"I am not telling. I don't want them to get into trouble."

"Sweetie, they won't get into trouble, so long as it wasn't that troublesome moon God. Ra doesn't think very highly of him." She remarked, and you looked down at your feet, wrapping the starry black fabric around your body a bit tighter. When she didn't get a reply, and you refused to meet her eyes, she gasped.

"Please, honey... Tell me Khonshu wasn't the one who did this to you..." Her voice was pleading with you that her assumption was incorrect. It broke your heart, but you snorted in defiance, and decided to casually lie with a bit of sarcasm.
