One scan of the business card and a reverse image search on Google later, Marc and Steven discovered Apollo. Masquerading as multimillionaire philanthropist Panos Megalos, he had his fingers in everything from arts to sports to medicine. Steven quickly skimmed through the deity's personal and corporate websites, flipping through photographs and articles of Megalos donating large sums to archery programs channeling athletes into the Olympics and to concert halls and orchestras for the continuation of their performances.
"He spends a lot of money," Marc noted.
"That is the definition of philanthropist, more or less," Steven mumbled, peering through his glasses at the computer screen in his flat.
"In my experience, to find someone, you follow the money."
"Duly noted."
"Like there."
Steven paused on a recent article titled "Megalos Donates $1M to London Symphony Orchestra." He scanned the page, paused on the third paragraph. "'Megalos will be attending a special performance in his honor. The program will include pieces the musicophile selected himself for the occasion.'"
"The performance is tonight. Hermes is going to steal from him then."
"How can you be sure?"
"If he's after Apollo's stuff, he'll go when Apollo is busy."
Steven clicked through some more articles, frowning as he scanned headlines and the first few paragraphs of each. "If he's stealing from Apollo tonight, where is he going to do it? He has dozens of houses and offices. That doesn't include any storage warehouses, yeah?"
Marc fronted to take control of the cursor. "The men that...the third one killed were local. Wherever it is, it's in England."
Scrolling through search results, Marc hesitated, backed further up the page. An Architectural Digest headline declared "Abodes Fit for the Gods: Inside the Greek Millionaire's Five Houses." Opening the article, Marc skimmed the locations for each house, found one situated north of London on a sprawling estate. Megalos had commissioned the property himself.
