There was a joyous holiday happening in honor of the birth a new young Goddess. Qadesh and Reshep had a beautiful daughter, one blessed to be as beautiful as her mother, and as strong willed as her father. Because of these blessings, she was able to traverse the skies at night, watching over the boat that took weary souls to their final resting place. She could heal the sick from disease and illnesses.

She was blessed by the other Gods with various gifts.

Hathor blessed her with feminine charm and the ability to derive great pleasure for very little effort.

Sekhmut offered her military training when she was old enough, giving her the ability to defend herself.

Bastet blessed her with the speed, agility, and dexterity of a feline, and the ability to always land on her feet.

Maat gifted her with honesty, kindness, and open-mindedness.

Ptah gave her creativity and expression mixed with intelligence and problem solving capabilities.

Even Ra blessed her with the ability to walk the sands of the dead sand sea where his boat ferried souls to the afterlife. He encouraged his other children to give gifts as well.

Tefnut gave her the ability to swim, and to never need food or drink, yet she could still enjoy the taste and texture like anyone else.

Shu gifted her the ability to breathe in any condition, or to not even need to take a breath if absolutely necessary.

That just left Khonshu...

Well, Kohnshu had been mostly kept in the dark about the birth. He hadn't been invited, nor did he really care. He was more focused on his creed, by keeping traveller's safe at night. That, and he was the outcast of the Gods, so he figured no one actually wanted him there. In the human world, it was a bad time of war and crime running rampant in the streets of Egypt. He was far too busy to visit, or so he told himself.

One day Khonshu was summoned by Ra, and he was scolded for missing the birth of this new Goddess. Khonshu was quite clear that he hadn't been informed, nor had been invited, plus these Gods weren't exactly part of the family, they just...

Appeared one day.

Ra relented in his accusations, but he demanded that Khonshu bestow a gift to her. Khonshu had no idea what to give her, so Ra gave him one hundred years to decide.

Over the years, the daughter of Qadesh and Reshep grew into a stunning and elegant Goddess. She was smart and polite, intelligent and very kind. She saw beauty in everything, including the grotesque and macabre, which was her specialty. She grew to love anything, finding the good in each living thing as she studied the mortal realm.
