Lewis Hamilton POV

I was happy, I knew she had a good heart but she went out of her way to make that girl and mom happy. I feel proud of my drunken self who knew how to choose the girl he wanted to spend his life with because when sober I only make the wrong choices. I felt happy with her by my side, I liked knowing she cared about my safety and it was good traveling with her, we visited a bit of Turkey the next days since we had a few days to do it.

We are now on Mercedes hospitality right before the press conference starts, we were having a chat in my room while she looked around. She got closer to me and kneeled down and I felt the blood rising to my cheeks as I took a step to my side, she opened the cabinet and took a Mercedes hat out.

"I will get sunburned on my face if I don't use it" She says innocently and I nod trying to shake my thoughts off. Of course, she wasn't thinking of it like that, are you that stupid Lewis?

"It looks good on you" I say as her smile grew wider.

"It looks better on you" She says shrugging and I hear a knock on the door.

"It's time Lewis" I hear Toto say and I open the door, she gets out first, and then so do I.

"Good luck guys" She says sitting down in the main room of the hospitality before we get out.

"See you in a bit" I say getting out with Toto who waved at her.

"How is married life going for you?" He asks and I shrug.

"We are on the friendship side, still getting to know each other but I genuinely like having her around" I say and he smiles.

"I'm glad, your dad is coming this weekend" He says and I nervously nodded.

"I know, she met my mom's side and they loved her. I hope they do too, he seemed excited for me to go ahead with this" I say and go to my chair waiting for it to start.

"Are you alone already?" Charles asks and I shake my head while letting out a laugh.

"She's by the hospitality" I say and notice the cameras started rolling so we get quiet waiting for the answers.

"Lewis, congratulations on the win in Russia for the last race, but you had an unexpected presence with you the whole weekend. Is she someone people should know about?" The interviewer asks and I just smile.

"I will tell you if there's someone I need people to know. She's definitely someone who came to keep me company" I say and he seems interested.

"Well, I hope you have more company over the next races" He says and everyone nods while I just remained calm. 

The press conference went by fast and as I was leaving George was coming too. I wished him good luck and came to find Abby who was looking at the television where some clips from the last races were showing.

"Missing me much?" I ask and she nods.

"Is it over already?" She asks and I sit by her side.

"It is, it was like less than an hour. What do you want to do?" I ask excitedly.

"I want to go to the hotel, you can stay if you want. I have a huge headache" She says and even though I found it strange I nodded.

"Do you need money to buy medicine? Take my card" I say picking up my wallet and she shakes her head.

"I just want to leave" She says and I knew something was happening.

"Take my wallet, you will need to pay for the cab, call me if you need something, I will go straight to the hotel" I say and she nods.

"I will probably rest until tomorrow, I will order food service or something. See you tomorrow" She says leaving and I sit there still wondering what just happened. I look at the hat she picked up earlier, pick it up and go to talk to Angela at the garage.

"Have any of you two been at the hospitality?" I ask when I find Angela and Susie talking and they look confused.

"No, why?" Angela asks worriedly.

"Abby was strange, she said she had a headache and she wanted to leave. She was fine an hour ago" I say starting to get concerned.

"Maybe she heard something she didn't like or someone was rude to her, she is the sweetest girl, she doesn't know people are mean sometimes. We will keep an eye on her tomorrow" Susie says and I nod.

"I just hope that she is okay" I say probably overthinking it.

I stayed a few more hours talking to my engineers and left around dinner time. I ate and went to my room, she never called, she just messaged saying she felt better and she would have breakfast with me tomorrow. She also apologized for leaving but I don't really care she left, I'm only worried someone may have been hurtful to her.

I headed to the lobby the next morning and she arrives 2 minutes later, she gives a small smile and comes to my side. 

"You forgot this" I say showing her the hat and she lets out a laugh.

"Maybe that gave me the headache, you need to do a different hat for me" She says laughing and I laugh too.

"Did someone say something to you? If someone was mean or rude you need to tell me" I say and she shakes her head.

"I'm fine, it was just a headache. Don't worry about it. Let's just eat so we can go to the paddock" She says and we do just that.

We have breakfast and go to the paddock because the first practice was 11:30 AM. We get there around 9:30 AM and I change clothes quickly while she waited with Angela. We head to the garage and start preparing for the weekend.
