Abby Hewitt POV

I was amazed at everything, the cars were way more beautiful personally, everything was. Lewis greeted basically everyone while I just said good morning a thousand times before we got to the Mercedes garage, at least it looks like it. He greets everyone generally and 4 people get closer to us.

"Abby this is Angela, a close friend of mine and also my trainer, physiotherapist, and sometimes Roscoe's babysitter. This is Toto, the team principal, and Susie, his wife. Valtteri is my teammate. Guys this is Abby, my wife" He says slowly introducing them and they look surprised.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Abby. We thought Lewis went to meet you for the annulment, this is even better news" Angela says excitedly.

"We were meant to do it but I guess life had other ideas. We are giving it a try" I say and they seem happy.

"If you need any help while Lewis is busy you can talk to us" Susie says and I nod smiling.

"Well, thank you. I think I will have some doubts but Lewis has been teaching me a lot of stuff" I say and they smile.

"That's good to know. Lewis will go to the press conference. If you want Susie and Angela can show you around, you can see the other garages and the hospitality" Toto says and I nod.

"Good luck with the conference. I will take the offer so I won't get lost tomorrow" I say and Lewis nods giving me a second look while he left with Toto and Valtteri.

"So, are you ready to be almost prosecuted for being married to a worldwide known man?" Susie asks and I look at her completely confused.

"Is he that famous? I mean, I know he is good and he likes what he does but do that many people know him?" I ask almost scared of what could happen. I could get serious backlash with this, every woman will hate me, I know it.

"Lewis is one of the most known athletes in the world. Do you know anything about his career? He is one of the most marketable athletes. People either love him or hate him, there is no in-between" Angela says and I nod nervously.

"I like Lewis, he is nice and he is passionate. He is a good man. But I know that this is a sport and it comes with rivalries and all that but I never searched for him or his career. I know he won a few times and all that, he told me" I say and they give each other a smile.

"Darling, Lewis is a 7-time world champion, he has too many victories, poles, and podiums under his belt" Susie says and I stop in my tracks. I feel so embarrassed.

"Oh God, he never told me! I told him he would be a champion someday and he just laughed. He must think I'm a joke" I say wanting to leave this place immediately.

"No! He is not like that. He probably just didn't want to brag and make you nervous. He looks pretty happy to have you around, just- Keep calm, we are here for you and to help you settle in this world. He is a good man, he probably likes the fact you were so calm about it all" Susie says and I take some deep breaths.

"I really want to make this work and I want to be by his side. Do you think I belong here? I don't want to be nuisance" I say nervously looking around and they smile.

"He would tell you if he didn't like having you around, he is an honest guy. As long as you want to be here, you belong here. Everybody is welcome here. We will help you in anything we can, we want Lewis happy so if you have any doubts or fears you can talk to us, we have been there too" Angela says and I smile.

"You are the nicest people I've known. So you are married to Toto. Are you married, Angela? Do you have kids?" I ask curiously.

"I am married and I have two kids" Angela says excitedly.

"I have a kid with Toto, Jack, but Toto has Benedict and Rosa with his ex. They are great kids"

They showed me every garage and car, we went into hospitality and I had a sneak peek at Lewis's room, I took one of his shirts from the team and put it on over my top. I wanted to see his reaction. We were heading back to the garage casually talking and I see Lewis talking with some guys while he stopped in the middle of the paddock.

"Excuse me, please" I say trying to change my voice a bit, Lewis takes a step forward and gets closer to them so I could pass and I see Angela and Susie trying not to laugh. Valtteri looked back and smiled while I took a few more steps.

"Lewis, you should take a picture with her, she is clearly a fan" Valtteri says making Lewis turn around, I cross my arms and he quickly smiles.

"You fooled me, I didn't recognize your voice" He says getting closer to me and hugging me.

"I did? Why are you in the middle of the walk? I want to walk here too. Inconsiderate" I say and he laughs.

"You look good with that shirt. Is it mine at least?" He asks getting closer and smelling it before nodding. "It smells like me"

"It was washed, I don't think it smells like you" I say rolling my eyes.

"Guys, this is Abby. My wife" Lewis says and I see everyone looking at one another confused as hell.

I tried not to laugh while I felt Lewis's arm wrapped around my waist and I feel his eyes on me. He liked seeing me with this shirt clearly.
