"You touch me one more time I swear I will kill you." Lyra hissed, earning Legolas to snap his head in her direction.
"Lyra?" Legolas whispered.
"Hello brother." Lyra smiled, mischievously.
Legolas looks his sister up and down, his eyes narrowing at the sight of her. "I never would have thought I would find you with dwarves."
"You say that like it is a bad thing. Did you forget that I am half dwarf, brother?" Lyra said, sharply. Legolas was taken aback by the tone his sister used. Clearly her time away from Mirkwood sharpened her tounge. Lyra looked at the red headed Elf next a small smile coming to her face, "Hello Tauriel."
Tauriel nodded her head and smiled softly, "It's been a long time, Lyra."
"Oh for Christ sake are you lot just gonna stand around and jabber or are we going to get on with it." Dwalin hissed, earning a slap on the back of the head from Lyra and snickers from some of the other dwarves.
Legolas shouts a command to the other elves and they begin to lead the dwarves out of the forest.
As they walk, Fili looks to Thorin, troubled. "Where's Bilbo?"
Thorin scans the forest. There is no sign of Bilbo. They are led over a bridge and through gates, the dwarves chains jingle as they walk into the Woodland Realm
Legolas turns to the elf standing guard. "Close the gate."
Invisible, Bilbo rushes forward. Legolas pauses, looking behind him. He sees nothing. He turns and walks into the gate. The elf guard closes it behind him. Bilbo manages to slip in at the last moment.
Lyra gazed around her as Elves roamed the area before them. She recognized many as friends she had left behind. One in particular stood out at her as she and the dwarves were led through the wooden walkways of the Realm.
"Lyra?" the elf muttered softly.
Lyra's ears perked at the sound of her name escaping her lips. Lyra smiled brightly as the She-elf began to run towards her full force. Once she reached Lyra, she tackled her to the ground. The dwarves tensed at the sudden intrusion on their descent towards what they assumed to be cells.
"Lyra Greenleaf, how dare you leave without so much as a goodbye!" the She-elf narrowed her eyes, and nudging Lyra in the shoulder. "I had to learn from my brother that you had snuck out!"
"First off, ow." Lyra "Secondly, I am not good with goodbyes, and you know that!"
"Laeanna!" another Elf called out, his tone taunting. Laeanna sighed and rolled her eyes. She helped Lyra stand.
"I must go, my husband can be a very taxing man when gets in certain moods." Laeanna sighed, she leaned closer to Lyra and whispered, "I will try and sneak away during the festival."
Lyra nodded and watched her friend walk towards the elf she called husband. Lyra seen familiarities within the elf. Like she knew him. Legolas made a grunting noise, making Lyra turn to face him. It was then that she realized that the dwarves were gone and she was all alone in a place she had not called home in many a moon.
"Father wants to see you." Legolas sighed.
Lyra grunted but followed him nonetheless. "Who is the elf that Laeanna married?"
