Ayla

"Sundae! Oh my god! I'm going to a party!" I kissed his head.

He purred, placing a paw on my forehead.

I grabbed it and kissed it.

I brushed out my hair and did some makeup, slipping my dress on.

"Do you like it sundae?" I asked.

He meowed.

"Me too."

"You know the drill, foods in your bowl, drink the milk before it gets warm and don't claw up my sheet again." I told him.

He blinked up at me.

"Love ya!" I kissed him.

I silently slipped out of the door just to see dad in the hallway.

"Where are you going?" He asked, crossing his arms.

"Out." I replied, feeling my heart beginning to beat at a rapid pace.

"Out where?"

"With friends." I lied.

"That makeup, and that dress?" He retorted.

"I'm gonna be late-" I tried slipping past him. He suddenly grabbed my arm and lowered his face to mine, his nails digging into my skin.

"You look like a whore. I didn't raise no whore of a daughter."

"You didn't raise me at all." I mumbled, hoping he wouldn't hear.

"What?"

I remained silent, looking away from him.

He used all his force and shoved me against the wall, my spine hitting the drywall, as I fell to my butt.

"You would be nothing without me! This is Not way to treat your father!" He slapped my face, that's when I could smell his breath, the reek of beer.

I clutched the skin.

"Go back into your room, we're you belong. Not out with some boy! Slut." He mumbled before walking back into the room.

My hand braced the wall. I could feel the surface of my burning. Looking down while pushing my aching body up.

I stared at the torn sleeve of the dress and pouted my lips.

Trotting back to my room and shutting the door.

My mascara was running and my eyes had been red. I huffed a frustrated breath and noticed the red mark on my cheek. The nail marks on my arm.

I tried my best to cover them up.

"It's gonna be okay, Sundae. Come here." I hugged him, rubbing his cheek to mine.

"It's gonna be okay." I whispered.

My phone vibrated on the table and that's when I noticed Noah's message.
