Ryujin's POV

I smiled as I watched a few of my and Yaneli's friends sat down at our table with their lunches. Me and Yaneli planned to tell them the news today.

I had no idea how Wheein, Hoseok and Yuna didn't find out and spread it around the entire school because they somehow find out everything.

"Hey look at you two, all cute holding hands!" Jungkook smiled as the rest of them agreed.

"Yeah so cute, I'm gonna throw up." Yoongi said before everyone started groaning and whining.

But that's just like Yoongi and that's one of the reasons we love him.

"Do you have to ruin every cute moment?" Hoseok asked before I interrupted.

"No it's okay, I mean you never held hands with your girlfriend?"

I watched as everyone's eyes went wide, some started choking, some stopped eating and me and Yaneli couldn't help but laugh.

"Ah jjinja?" Hoseok asked again.

"No no no. We teased them enough and now they're pulling a prank on us, I know it!" Jungkook showed off his bunny smile.

That would be true... If we'd have done this a few months ago. I'm a little curious of what crazy ideas they could come up with.

"Yah! Girl-friend, a girl who's a friend. That's what they're gonna say, bet money." Wheein laughed.

"I can bet my whole living then." Hyejin said making us all laugh.

"I can bet my banana milk!"

Me and Yaneli laughed as the whole entire table was filled with good energy. The things our friends were 'betting' were ridiculous but yet hilarious.

"Yeah no way, good one though." Seulgi said before taking a bite of her food.

"Ain't no way, you would never. We weren't born yesterday, we've known you for way too long to know when you're kidding." Miyeon added.

"Good acting though."

Even though they're poking fun of us, it was funny and all and we weren't hurt by it but I thought it's time to let them know that we are not in fact joking.

"Should we prove it?" I asked, still giggling at our friends' behavior.

"Please. If you are, you'll kiss right here, right now, in front of everybody." Jimin made us laugh again, probably thinking we'll back out.

Suddenly I felt Yaneli let go of my hand and grab my jaw before gently kissing me on the lips which instantly made me melt.

"WAH! HYUNA AND HYOJONG HAVE A COMPETITION!"

Time skip

"Did you hear Yaneli and Ryujin are dating?"

"I knew that they would date sooner or later."

"Finally! They are literally so cute together."

"I've been waiting for them to date. It literally took them forever."

I heard people say when me and my new girlfriend walked through the halls together, holding hands.

I never liked being the center of attention and being talked about but I do feel happy and proud that people know that I have a beautiful girlfriend.

"Well today I know we'll be covering Korean poetry again so will you be my pillow for today?" She asked as the professor unlocked the classroom and we went in.

"Of course baby." I chuckled. "Every time..."

"Hey honey, hi Ryujin." Our professor greeted us as we passed by his desk and took our usual seats in the back.

"Hi appa."

"Hi Mr. Jung."

Soon enough, everyone was inside the classroom and the lesson started.

Boring as always.

Instead of focusing on what the professor was saying, I turned my attention to my cute girlfriend who was already clinging onto me, literally falling asleep.

My heart fluttered at the sight. I honestly felt honored and so happy to call her my girlfriend. I never thought of who was going to be my best friend forever, was going to be my girlfriend.

"Hey," I said as I kissed her forehead a couple of times. "Don't fall asleep."

"Nah don't worry, I'm just resting my eyes." She answered as she straightened up.

I chuckled quietly as I saw the professor had turned around and I suddenly got an idea.

"Gimme a kiss?"

"Right now?"

"Yes!"
