Last night I spent the night with Beckett in the Tiki Hut like I promised him. It's actually a lot cozier than I thought it would be. It was nice to do something fun to get my mind off of what today is.

The beach day with Harry and his kids.

We woke up at around 9:30 and got ready for the day. I brushed through my hair and put it in a low messy bun and pulled the front pieces down to get most of it out of my face since the beach will probably be pretty windy.

I decided to wear a pink matching bikini. The top has thin straps and a v-shape scoop neckline. The bottoms are high cut, so they rest closer to the top of my hips. I'm covering it up with a pair of medium wash distressed jean shorts and a white button-up, which I'm wearing unbuttoned.

As I was looking through what to wear, I also found a green bucket hat with a purple and yellow floral pattern and thought that would be fun to wear with it. Plus, it will keep the sun off of my face.

I dressed Beckett in his favorite Chuck & Friends rash guard and swim trunk set hoping that if he's in his favorite swim trunks maybe he'll be less nervous to meet new people.

We just ate breakfast in the room since we got granola bars and a pack of donuts at the shop downstairs and now we're waiting on the couch for 10:50 to roll around so that we can head downstairs to meet Harry.

Beckett is sitting on my lap with Chuck the truck in his hand, running it around his legs and up my arm every once in a while. He doesn't really know what's going on yet, he just knows we're meeting friends at the beach.

"Hey, Beckett, did you know that some of our friends that are going to the beach with us are almost your age?" I ask him in order to hopefully explain a little bit more of what's going on. He stops messing with his truck and looks up at me to give me his full attention.

He's a smart kid and I don't want to leave him completely in the dark about who we're meeting.

"Really? They're this many?" he holds up three fingers.

"One is four, so this many," I hold up four fingers. "And one is two, so this many." I hold up two fingers.

"Will they play toys with me?" he asks, sounding slightly worried.

"I'm sure they will! You might have to ask them nicely though," I tell him.

"I can do that! Are they my friends?"

"You don't know them yet, but I'm sure they would love to be your friends!" I reassure him.

"Aunt Emmy, I get to make friends today!" he tells her. She's sitting on the couch with us while we wait.

"That's awesome, Beck! Are you so excited?" she asks excitedly to match his tone.

"I'm so excited! Mommy said they'll play toys with me!" he says as if Em didn't hear our whole conversation.
